Tips from the Trenches
I was diagnosed in December, 2008 aged 42. This is what I have learnt. Keeping moving at all costs. Motion creates emotion. When I walk, swim do yoga. I'm winning. Keep connecting with people. My wife has created a circle of friends who keep me involved in their lives. Take naps. Siestas

Hemp Seeds or Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis)
Hi, For the past week or so my legs have been killing me! I'm reluctantly increasing my Amitriptyline and I asked my Neurologist about Sativex and they said there is no way I could have it because it is only approved for MS, I've been reading about Cannabis and Hemp seeds and it looks very promising

Iron deficiency in 3rd trimester - can you still take calcium tablets?
I have just had my second set of bloods done (at 29 weeks) and despite being told I had 'phenomenal' haemoglobin levels after my first tests I have now been told I a low in iron and prescribed supplements of 210mg per day. I have also got calcium + vitamin D tablets and omega 3 cod liver oil tablets

Essential fatty acids- My miracle!
Its been over 8 weeks since I needed a massage and I've been having them every 2-3 weeks for the last 7 years! I cannot believe how much better I am from a pain reduction point of view it really is amasing. I started taking 3000mgs of Evening primrose oil a day and 4425mgs of Omega 3 EPA a day on October
