I had my first round of Zometa recently as bone-directed therapy. It was a rough ride for a few days after that first infusion. I read that basically that first-round risk isn't too unusual.

Has anyone taken tyrosine and had any positive outcomes? I already take magnesium Iron and B12. I have recently added Omega 3 but when looking into Pramipexole and dopamine I came across Tyrosine. It seems you can literally buy a supplement for anything these days but wondering if its worth looking

Also on Lupron and Zometa. I feel great. The only side effects are things that I would consider very minor.

I've been reading about the anti-inflammatory properties of Omega fish oils (3-6-9) - I would be interested in any experience with taking this type of supplement and whether it is safe to take with steroids? Just wondering if anyone gets hip pain a few days after having a zometa infusion. I had my faslodex shots last Saturday and a zometa infusion and I have awful hip pain in my good hip. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. Stay safe Marianne

Well what I wanted to ask is have any of you gotten really sick after a Zometa infusion? I did ok after the first two but I had my third one 10 days ago and have been sick with chills, fever and awful body ache for the last 6 days. Could it be I wasn't hydrate enough?

So the lady across from me today said she just started Foslodex and Zometa today. I told her I had the same. MBC. Then she proceeded to tell me her Doctor said 5-10 years barring new treatments coming out all the time. She was like I’m 64...5-10 years plus whatever...She was so positive!
