Swellings on legs
Hi, I am not on any thyroid medication but perhaps if you anyone could advise regarding my swollen legs please. I have pernicious anaemia and have had severe D deficiency plus zinc deficiency. I have raised my D levels and continue to take things for that plus I take zinc and B complex and folate.

Sorry I'm asking lots of questions at the moment - I'm pretty new to the Hashis thing and the intricacies of it overwhelm me at times! My GP recently referred me to a neurologist re. numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. It's mostly noticeable at night, when I'm horizontal, and it keeps me awake

New Blood Labs after adding Liothyronine - TSH looks better but Ferritin levels low. Have symptoms of low Ferritin but Iron is OK.
Thank you in advance to everyone who recommended I get my Ferritin, Iron, etc checked as well as TSH labs. I had to pay out of pocket (I'm in the US). 3 weeks after adding 2.5 mcg of Liothyronine to my 75mcg Synthroid my TSH levels improved. Below are my levels prior to adding 2.5 mcg of T3 and after

Which foods have more than 10% fiber by weight? The answer may surprise you. (Hint - includes dark chocolate).
Fiber is incredibly important. It leaves your stomach undigested and ends up in your colon, where it feeds friendly gut bacteria, leading to various health benefits. Certain types of fiber may also promote weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and fight constipation. The recommended daily intake is 25

Metoprolol 12.5
I got prescribed metoprolol 12.5 twice a day for my pvcs episodes/ ectopic beats. And apparently it also works for anxiety. I’m wondering is what I’m taking a low dose. I’ve read it decreases zinc witch it can lead to losing sex drive and testosterone levels. Can I take a multi-vitamin to increase them

Medichecks Results - what now?
Would love some input on my results please I started on Levo 5 weeks ago (50mg a day) after a slightly elevated TSH of 3.1 was detected by our IVF clinic, following a miscarriage. These are my latest results from Medichecks, I also had the standard TSH and FT4 done at my GP, which came back almost

Tired of doctors patronizing me because I’m “young and healthy”
Is this a common thing that happens? I’m currently going through the process of diagnosing some unknown autoimmune disease that causes me to have chronic muscle and joint pain and headaches and muscle twitches/spasms. Nobody has any answers for me, they’ve checked me for lupus like 3 times. Just going

MEDICHECKS TEST KIT ARRIVED - which supps do I need to give up before testing and for how long?
Hi Everyone. This is my first private test and I really need to make this test count and get results which are as accurate as possible from it. I would be very grateful if members would have a look at the supps I am taking and advise which ones I need to stop before doing the test and for how long.
