T3 or not T3
Hi Below are my recent results. I’m on 100mg thyroxine. My T3 is low but it’s higher since I stopped taking the T3... as when I was on it I felt no difference, but I was only on 75mg thyroxine then. I really would like to feel the benefits of T3 that u all describe but I just can’t find the right balance

ABLATION +2 YEARS + COVID JAG
Just had my Covid jag, completely painless, a minor scratch and that was it. Unfortunately the lead up to the Jag was not so good, when I had passed the 2 booths verifying my eligibility/conditions etc I felt like I was going to get a lethal injection as both explained in great detail the potential side

TEN WHOLE MILES!!!
Unbelievably, I have managed to run 10 miles this morning! After accidentally stopping 500m short a couple of weeks ago (tragic! ☹️), I was determined to get out today and finish the job! Started well, did the 1st half with a friend, then I had to get myself back on higher ground to finish off. Nearly

Vaccination - How did it affect you?
I had my vaccination on Friday evening - as I am an NHS volunteer. They say you might get symptoms 24 to 48 hour later. I had virtually no local discomfort in my arm. I felt a little un-energetic 18 hours in. 22 to 26 hours in I had a migraine-ish headache, tight chest, sore neck, palpitations aching

T4 not being converted to T3
I have at last had a Genova test that confirms that I am not converting T4 to T3, and the reading for T3 is too low to measure. I had long suspected this is the case due to my worsening symptoms, but the NHS blood test always came back as okay. Apart from taking selenium and zinc, is there anything that

I have been unwell for 2 years with symptoms of high Cortisol. I had started a new job which was very stressful, was taking HRT tablets and propranolol for anxiety. My Cortisol level was high. I left that job but my symptoms remained. All the fat was on my stomach and back with a fat pad on the back

Alcohol and B1
I don't drink much now, though I did in the past. Over Christmas, however, I had the odd glass here and there. But as we all know, the odd glass becomes a daily glass, then a glass and a half... However, I felt this morning that my Parkinson's symptoms seemed a little more obvious, which led me to questioning

Great results with vitamins, next steps?
Hi all I wanted to say thanks to all those who helped me when I was (and do) feel pretty crappy. As you can see from the attached, thanks to your advice with supplementation I’m now at a great level with my vitamins and you can see the impact it has had on my thyroid results. TSH AUG - 0.181, NOV -

Hello, new member
Hello, I'm a new member and found this forum after a lot of online searching. Much of the info here is quite helpful and would appreciate any opinions. I've been on 100 mcg of Levothyroxine for thirteen years and still have lingering hypo symptoms like feeling cold, hoarse voice, stomach bloating, hypoglycemia
