Hi

can anyone post me the ranges for the main vitamins that help thyroid function that we need optimal I am just going back through my bloods to check what levels they are and if my irons low what are good supplements to take as I am very sensitive ?

years ago I tried a hair supplement which had seaweed in and b complex plus magnesium supplements and I was taking furrous sulphate or fumerature I think 200mcg I think bid I managed to force the doctor to prescribe me some as iron levels were on the low end and it was the peak time in my life I was feeling actually the wellest I have been in this whole mess of a thyroid journey but then for some reason I went down hill after about 6 months and my hair started shedding uncontrollable I would just have a mass of hair on the floor and I went hypo again so I stopped iron and the hair supplements to try and stabalise again but I was never well again but I thought the trigger maybe to much iodine in the hair supplements sent me hypo again as I have taken iodine before and I was really ill but these supplements seemed to really help me so bit confused as to way the deterioration and my results during the summer were the best I ever had I think my tsh was 1.5 ish and my T4 was over 17 and Iooked and felt my best so now nearly 10 years later !? I am trying to figure out what's the best iron to take at high strength and has anyone else been able to tolerate iodine in a ratio with selenium to help aid thyroid function as on sensitivity tests it does show I am deficient in iodine.

Would appreciate the ranges if anyone knows what the optimal should be and any success with iron supplements and iodine etc

My vit d and b seem to be quite ok vit d above 70 I think and b above 800 so its vit a, iron, zinc and iodine I am focusing on as I am not sure if I have also got polyuria so has anyone tested for that too as it is connected to thyroid disfunction and I have quite a few symptoms?

Thanks
