Covid jab and testing blood
Hello, I am due to have my blood tested next Tuesday after upping to 125mcg from 100mcg on alternate days. My GP is requesting TSH, T3, T4, antibodies(?) and B12. I was planning to get my second Covid jab this Friday (walk in). Does anyone know if this is potentially a problem before a blood test? I

Help with bloods please
Hello Everyone, I would be grateful if anyone could interpret my results please. I had an advanced thyroid function blood test. I am taking 150mcg levothyroxine (Almus) brand. However, I have not tolerated well and wasn’t taking the full amount when I had my bloods drawn. I’m feeling at my wits end!

Sensitive! Picture warning, hope for anyone with really low AMH and a husband with terrible sperm!
I hope this brings hope and also want to share how I think I finally got my little miracle! I was 36 when diagnosed with really low amh for my age. Mu husband also had terrible sperm ( low everything!) We had been trying for a couple of years and only got naturally pregnant once which ended at 6 weeks

Critique My Supplement Stacking? Share Your Protocol?
Update: I can be such an idiot. I have not been diagnosed with PK. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and my neurologist was kind enough to let me know PK is in my future (and/or LBD). My supplement list is intended to keep PK and LBD away (though truth be told my balance is not what it used to be, and

Feet/shoe issues
Help! Advice wanted. I wear the Hoka Bondi 7 running trainers, which absolutely ruin my feet now I'm doing over 5k. I have quite a high bridge/arch of my feet and the trainers are causing blistering from the side of my big toe, right down the inside of my foot to the point my arch is too high to touch

Endo Appointment on Tuesday - latest results. Is this all in my head now?
Hi all Sorry for the long post but would really appreciate opinions on my latest blood test results before I meet my Endo on Tuesday. Private Endo, nice chap, recommended here - Oxford based. So, after feeling fed up with being treated as a hypochondriac, I now wonder if I have actually become one. I

Blood test Results
Hi, my last blood test results are: TSH: 0.145 ( 0.450-4.500) Free T4: .89 ( .82-1.77) Free T3: 2.7 ( 2.0-4.4) Are my T3 and T4 too low? I know my TSH is low, however I feel very tired and sleepy like when my TSH is high. I currently take 50 mg Tirosint and 5 mcg of T3 twice a day. Should I increase

Smart Choice starts with You! I made what I called: Koko Bar 😁👍😋❤️🌺
With our day to day busy life, we want something efficient and powerful source of nutrients and energy. Something on the go that is quick, wholesome, healthy and beneficial to our health; hence we usually pick up a protein and energy bar for breakfast, midday snack, or after a workout. I do purchase

Testing after change in dose
Hello, I upped from a daily 100mcg dose to alternate days of 100mcg and 125mcg 10 weeks ago. I keep meaning to book a blood test and will call the Dr on Monday. The change in dose was prompted by an inability to lose weight. The change in dose hasn't helped with this yet... Anyway, my question is do

Supplements during Covid
Hi Is it wise to take supplements as suggested widely by the general public as a means of providing immunity because of covid 19.? Its concerning since immunosuppressants are doing the opposite. I think 🤔 I know of people loading up on zinc, vitamin C & D, etc. I'm just on my regular multivitamin

Timing of vitamins
This was an interesting article. I began taking Vitamin D3 and co-factors after joining this site, as well as a B complex and C. After reading this article I changed my pill box around a little, moving the Vitamin C to bedtime. I had no idea it would prevent absorption of Vitamin B12. I knew about

Everything is playing up in turns!
I was interested to learn about Epsom salts, thank you. Any tips for hips? Peripheral nerve damage in the legs & a degenerative spine are standard, and being taken care of as well as poss. But a really dodgy knee (recorded) and now these hips jumping in, have resulted in me flaked out in the chair
