Mouth Ulcers/Cold Sores
Does anybody get mouth ulcers (cold sores) with their B12D? I was low on b12 (159) for many years and got cold sores frequently. I've been supplementing for 3.5 months heavily now and just got some new ones in my lip area and cheek. The PAS website says they are common but havent seen them mentioned

Has anyone ever got rid of oral thrush?
I’ve had oral thrush for 8 weeks now. My GP prescribed a course of Nystatin which didn’t make any difference. I then bought a couple of tubes of Daktarin, still no better. My dentist recommended using Corsodyl mouthwash twice daily (which I’m still using every day). I eat a probiotic yoghurt each day

Tonsillitis, wedding and anxiety
It is my wedding day on Saturday (now tomorrow) and yesterday I was diagnosed with tonsillitis I have antibiotics but I have been so distressed about the timing that .y anxiety is really high. I took 20mg of propanolol to help calm me down but now I was worrying it will clash with my antibiotics.

One for those who take warfarin
Evening All, Just a quickie, I recently treated an outbreak of athlete's foot with some Daktarin ointment which I bought over the counter. I did read the instructions found inside the box and learnt that cream as its an anti fungal can upset your INR. I self test and checked my INR a week after treatment

Complications with PACNS/ Cerebral Vasculitis
Was diagnosed with PACNS in 2015, biopsy proven, after several years of severe headaches, memory loss and fatigue, advised now in remission. Originally had Chemotherapy, steroid and Methotrexate, now only on the latter, but still experience symptoms. Would be interested to hear from anybody with Cerebral

Constant strong taste of salt
Hi Is anyone experiencing a really bad, constant salty taste in their mouth? My googling is suggesting Sjögrens might be a possibility but I don’t really have a particularly dry mouth (or eyes) just a disgusting ongoing taste of salt. Thanks!

Mouth Thrush?
Hi New Friends, Has anyone experienced problems with mouth thrush before? I've had some weird rash for about 3 weeks that has gone undiagnosed despite 3 different doctor visits. I see my oncologist today for followup. If you've experienced this, how did you treat it? Thanks!

PROBLEMS WITH SUPPLEMENTS
Hi all, I'm having problems with my supplements - I bought TDN Nutrition D3+K2 vitamin complex (3000iu Vit D3 + 100 ug Vit K2-MK7). I took these for a few days but noticed my varicose vein running from my inner calf right up to my groin, which is usually innocuous unless I've done a lot of walking/standing

Advice, please, on stopping apixaban for dental work
About three years ago I had to have dental treatment (scaling and root planing) that can involve some bleeding. I tried to get advice on whether or not to discontinue my warfarin (and if so, when, and when to resume) and found myself in the middle of a sort of three person pass-the-parcel game. GP said

Systematic Review of Photobiomodulation for the Management of Oral Mucositis in Cancer Patients

This might well prove to be a new treatment for relief from HU non-melanoma skin

Hi ya everyone, so I think I posted about a couple of months ago, about these blooming mouth sores. No remedy seems to help them ☹️ But I do have some medical that numbs for a short while. I saw my oncologist two weeks ago, and she has stopped my hydroxycarbamide to see if the mouth sores go away ( then

Sore lips now 😐
Because I’ve been stressing on and off lately I’ve now got a cold sore on my lip, I am prone to having them from time to time, I’m assuming because the immune system is low because of anxiety that’s what’s causing it? I usually only get them when Im run down anyway. they’re not nice though

Does anyone have recurring oral thrush?
Hi, I've had oral thrush regularly, the liquid medicine (can't remember the name but it's yellow) doesn't touch it and I've had oral medication to clear it. My GP suggested I use Chlorodyl to keep it at bay but so far doesn't seem to touch it. I do eat plain yoghurt 3 or 4 times a week but he didn't

The edges and underside of my tongue is sore and my eyes water just cleaning my teeth. Does anyone else suffer from this and what do you do to ease/treat

Sore nose
Does anyone diagnosed with Sjogrens have issues with a sore nose? Not from blowing your nose too much, or as far as I know, from nasal dryness. The fleshy part of my nostril is sore and sometimes swollen. It is not always sore. My rheumy's assistant didn't seem to think too much of it after I told
