Can anyone advise if ectopic heartbeats should be reported to a dentist if undergoing root canal/crown treatment. Just not sure and need to know for future reference

You should report all medical issues to your dentist. Previously you have reported LBBB. They can then clarify things with your GP/cardiologist as necessary. My understanding is that your heart issues would probably mean full anaesthesia would be inappropriate in this environment - although unlikely. Good luck!

As an ex dental assistant I can say you most definitely must tell your dentist all your medical history, even if you have medical problems that are under investigation but not yet confirmed, this information should be updated on your records every time you go for a check up.

And vice versa, let your doctors know what’s happening with your teeth too.

Hello

My wife tends to keep a copy of my repeat prescription in her hand bag. When we go any where ( Dentist ) and they ask what meds I am on she just shows them the repeat prescription, saves any misunderstanding !!!

Yes, as they will probably want to use local anaesthetic without added adrenaline to avoid aggravating any heart issues.
