Tough day yesterday
I was ok when I attended a morning Kundalini
Yoga
class but noticed that after an hour of focused attention and inner work I was very tired. Then in the afternoon I visited the amazing garden of a new friend and ate dates swabbed in almond butter and drank a cup of peppermint tea.

post run recovery drinks or food? Or rest?
On rest days I walk, do Pilates
yoga
and have recently started weights (which my be another reason why I’m more physically tired) but I’m wondering if my diet needs more of something. I find it naturally hard to sit still for long being a bit of a fidgety type. All ideas and advice welcome🙏😊

Is the Parkinson's honeymoon over for me?

YWA CENTER Day 8 - 14: In the midst of the mat
Tomorrow starts the middle section of our
Yoga
Journey. So by now I’m well into the habit of daily

. My mat is staying rolled out, but it’s now not in our workout corner in the living room but rather beside my indoor rower in our guest bedroom.

Don't let fibro win !!

stools and bloat
I literally have tried diets including low Fodmap, excoriating ,
yoga
, more water, more fiber, less fiber. I’ve tried literally all laxatives and nothing works on me. It only comes out when it wants. I’m in pain every single day.

Speed intervals
I hated them, but they made a big difference.I went to a
yoga
class last night, after having neglected
yoga
for ages. I don't love organised classes, but knew it would be good for me as I generally feel a bit stiff. Two afternoons shovelling compost on my allotment had left me a bit achy.

Sometimes...
These routine exercises,
yoga
and everything else are working. I may not always realise it, but they are. The afternoon....there were jobs to do.... but after lunch, the relaxation of the day was still on me... I did little. A bit of sketching... and bit of sorting and a lot of sitting down.

Crippling Anxiety
I used to be so different, I was in the gym daily, sometimes twice a day, went to
yoga
classes, ate very healthily and was happy. I fell ill last year and my routine went out the window, after that the anxiety crept in.

Updated plans :)
I'll keep going with the Pilates on some of my non-running days and in the meantime been experimenting with the beginner

plan in the NTC app, so I'm keeping busy all things considered!

LUPUS, activity and exercise
Up until recently I've only been doing gentle stretching,
yoga
and a bit of walking - nothing much at all. Now I have more energy, feel better and weather is finally improving, I want to start increasing my activity and exercise levels (this used to give me so much joy before the diagnosis).

Why Self Care is so important in managing your IBS…
I also go for a swim as often as I can and try to practice
yoga
on a daily basis! This isn't always achievable but the most important thing is I don't beat myself up about it if I don't exercise for a few days.

CATCH-UP=CORNER...WEEK 2... A WARM WELCOME to ALL... COME on IN!
I have continued to exercise, with
yoga
routines, walking, and some basic, well-known strength and stamina routines too. The high point for me was reaching Week 8 in my running repeat of C25K, and the lovely longer relaxed runs. There is no attempt at speed or distance.
