Ovary stuck to uterus?
So whilst having an ultrasound, I was told that my left ovary is stuck to my uterus. I’m not surprised as I’ve been getting pains there. However the lady who was scanning me told me this is normal for people with endo and that nothing would be done about it? The pain is getting worse as time goes on

Metoject side sffects
Hi there, a merry Christmas to you all. I have recently been changed from methotrexate to metoject injection due to ulcers in my mouth being unbearable sore. I now have what looks like water blisters on the sole of my feet and the puss filled ones in my feet. They are not painful thankfully, just uncomfortable

New strategies against bone metastases from prostate cancer - Science Daily
From the paper:
[i]There are two types of bone disease from metastases: lytic metastases, which destroy bone tissue, and blastic metastases, which build new bone-like tissue with cancer cells. Currently, it doesn't matter if a bone metastasis is lytic or blastic -- they are both treated the same

CAPD and night sweats
I have been on peritoneal dialysis for nearly two months. While things are going well in general, I am suffering from occasional excessive sweats. I wake up with soaking bedsheets and pillow, soggy hair and general sticky, sweaty body. Can anyone throw light on this condition?

Fibromyalgia and Dentistry
I was wrongly diagnosed with fibromyalgia circa May 2015 and it's easy to see why. I ticked every box. However I was unhappy with the diagnosis from the outset and so I made a nuisance of myself and only this last month have found the last piece of the jigsaw. What is really wrong with me is OA and that

New paper from Japan [1]. The antiandrogen flutamide was approved by the FDA for PCa thirty years ago. Bicalutamide had been approved by the FDA a few years earlier. The paper presents an anecdotal case of a man "in whom flutamide controlled disease progression for 10 years" "after bicalutamide failure

TURP alternative for BPH
I have BPH and eurology is not an option due to the size of the prostate. I’m in mid 50s otherwise good health. I’ve been told TURP is the only way to go. Does anyone know of any alternative to the TURP which seems to have mixed results? Thanks

Oral thrush?
Hi guys, As some of you know already I’ve just started taking Levothyroxine I’ve had around 8days worth so far but I have now got what appears to be oral thrush... do you think this could be a reaction to the tablets or maybe just another illness as I’m so run down? Tia x

Placenta previa
Hi all At my 20 week scan I was told I had placenta previa, which means the placenta was blocking the “exit” I was told early doors that my placenta was at the back, but I initially thought this was great, as I was able to feel the baby move in my tummy a lot sooner. Before this was diagnosed, I had
