I have been on peritoneal dialysis for nearly two months. While things are going well in general, I am suffering from occasional excessive sweats. I wake up with soaking bedsheets and pillow, soggy hair and general sticky, sweaty body. Can anyone throw light on this condition?

Have you talked with your dialysis center about this?
What you’re describing sounds a little like what diabetics sometimes experience at night. But I know there are other medical conditions that can cause this as well.
Regardless, your dialysis team should be informed do they can figure this out.

Surry to hear about your having a problem. I've not experienced anything like that. My only problem is the need to sit up to complete drain.
