Recently, I was prescribed Gyno-Daktarin vaginal cream (to be inserted into the vagina with applicators) to be taken every night for 7-10 days in the hope it would clear up thrush symptoms after canesten treatments having no effect. However, since using the cream i have experienced increased itching and irritation, particularly after applying the cream externally as well as internally on the first night. I do not seem to have any internal itching but i never have. Should i continue to take this treatment despite the increased itching? So far i have only taken it for two nights. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Its possible to be allergic to these treatments. Did you have a test which showed candida ?
No I wasn’t tested but I went back to the doctors after using the cream and have been tested. I should get the results from that tomorrow, altho not sure they’ll be accurate as I used the cream so recently.
