I have BPH and eurology is not an option due to the size of the prostate.
I’m in mid 50s otherwise good health.
I’ve been told TURP is the only way to go.
Does anyone know of any alternative to the TURP which seems to have mixed results?
Thanks

Interesting reading. I’d never heard of this condition.
Some patients have BPH and a "HUGE" prostate and are poor candidates for the TURP... Hope Jackbeacons has a good Urologist to guide him...Praying for rain in Oz....Have a great week...

Hey marnieg46! My wife’s sisters family just re-routed their vacation plans from Australia to Bali due to the fires. Craziness indeed scary! Hope that you’re safe. Scott🎄🎁
Thank you Scott. We're all good and the fires seem to have abated. Sorry about the change of holiday plans your wife's family has had to make. I've messaged you in more detail.
Here is some more information as well--there is HoleP and Urolift. I think you need to look at this information, talk to the Urologist, and see what is recommended, even get a second opinion at a Center of Excellence for Urology...
