Private Thyroid and NHS Test
Hi all, I had a nhs standard thyroid test on 7th March also checking for iron, kidneys and liver, possibly B12 not sure, as explained to my G.P feeling tired and lying down during day. I actually already take prescribed iron and have done for past couple years maybe longer. Had iron deficiency on off

Blood results - help! New here
Hi, I'm new here but wondered if anyone could help me work out what's going on. I am seeing an American Dr (Skype) via my nutritionist - not yet ventured to NHS as been put off as 'making it up' for too long - 'although your symptoms suggest underactive Thyroid' .. grrrr! Apologies for the rather long

Help with interpreting blood test results. What's the next step?
My god-daughter has just received more blood test results, some of which are in the photo attached. She previously had low B12 (for which she is now receiving loading injections), and also low serum folate, low iron, low transferrin saturation, and tested positive for Hashimoto's and Lactate Dehydrogenase

Blood results - please decipher for me
Below is my last lot of bloods done in July 2017. I have no idea what most of it means. I see my cholesterol is a little high which is a bit of a concern. Can someone please tell me if these all look good? I would like to be in the "optimal" range, not just the "normal" range. I am 36. Got diagnosed

Blood test markers of inflammation
What markers of inflammation do people on here test for? I know there's a whole alphabet soup available - so far I've just used hsCRP.

Hypothyroid and due for second blood test since starting treatment. Apologies for the long post!
I was diagnosed Hypothyroid in October 2017. After feeling quite unwell for some months in 2016 I went to see my doctor, as I was having frequent sudden bowel movements, was feeling exhausted and had tingling and numbness in my hands and feet. My hands were often very itchy too. I was feeling very low

I've just had another range of blood tests and now have the results. I'd appreciate some help with understanding them.
I've not been well for over three years, but over the last six months I've been feeling worse and worse. It's mostly the same symptoms but getting more severe and more frequent. I've had several water infections - my gp thinks it's inflammation of the stomach wall flaring up. Each time is more painful

TURP
About time bark in proton therapy (well pretty sure anyway) and my urologist says I need a TURP for my BPH. I’m sure I do need but hers my question. I know everyone says definitely get TURP prior to conventional external beam therapy in order to minimize adverse effects urinating during treatment plus
