Dear All, I apologise in advance for the length of this post. I have tried to include all the info that I see others being asked when they post their results. I would be really grateful for any assistance with my blood test results please. I am on T3 only. As well as any general help with interpreting

what’s next
Hi all. Diagnosed with PMR 5 weeks ago. Prescribed 20 mg of prednisone. Just received my follow up lab results. C-Reactive Protein dropped from 39.6 to < 3.0. Sedimentation rate from 18 to 6. See my GP on Monday to go over this. What can I expect? Commence prednisone tapering? If so, what are your opinions

What do these blood test results mean, please.
These are the results of the blood tests I had done earlier this month. My doctor didn't tell me to fast beforehand, but thanks to advice from this site I had fasted for the previous 12 hours. The doctor has now told me that no action needs to be taken, but I note that one of the readings shows that

Fatty Liver - So worried
I gave up drinking about 3 years ago with some 'blips' along the way where I tried moderation which I absolutely know now does not work. However, the dragging sensation I used to get in my liver area when I used to take a drink has persisted into sobriety. I approached the doctor to look into this in

What to do
Hi all, I've been having headaches for about a month -- frontal headaches that often focus on the right-side. I've also lost 10 pounds in 8 weeks, am fatigued, and have a c-reactive protein level of 1.4 (which is not too high but higher that it should be). Sed-Rate is normal. No jaw pain, but

Abnormal serum c reactive protein level
Hi all, newly on flecainide (3 weeks) so have gone in for first blood tests. One of the abnormalities is a high CRP reading (15 against a normal range of 5-10). I had an ablation four weeks ago. Although difficult to pin point where the inflammation is, would it be a reasonable bet to assume it’s heart
