Can a dialysis patient use protein power?
My protein level is low even with the Pro-Stat the kidney center gives to me, Is it ok to use
whey
protein
powder? i mean in it the potassium is 160 mg per serving, Cholesterol is 55mg. I'm a dialysis person.I'm thinking cutting the per serving to half so to decrease the potassium.

Since I am vegan and don't get enough
protein
, a friend suggested a
whey
protien shake. Long story short 1 week later, I appear to be at the beginning of a flare. I think the
whey
protein
set it off. Any experiences?

Keeping Going (part 4)
So ordered some
Whey
protein
and some weights. So some gentle weight training plus gentle runs. After two weeks of this I have regained some of my stamina and my mojo came for a 30 min run this morning, nothing special but under 8 mins per kilometer so it looks like the medication is working.

protein supplements: yes or no?
I’d like input on what the latest research, if any, is RE
protein
supplements.
Whey
isolate vs. vegan
protein
supp? Does either one promote or suppress PCa after Tx? Also, what’s the latest on eggs? It seems choline in eggs means they’re out as a protein source. But can egg whites be an option?

Protein deficiency and B12?
A couple weeks ago, suspecting that I was getting less than the recommended amount of
protein
, I began taking a
whey
protein
supplement. I felt better immediately, but then the old persistent symptoms (brain fog, headache, generally feeling ill) returned, reappearing some days but not others.

Anyone had IgG food intolerance tested and successfully eliminated the offenders?
My IgG test shows that I have moderate reaction to cow's milk,
whey
protein
, egg white, brazil nuts and peanuts, and soy bean (and it's derivatives), so planning to eliminate these things from my diet for at least 3 months to see if it makes any difference.

Does anyone take or have advice on taking a lactoferrin supplement to increase bone density?
Additionally, I looked up
whey
protein
and if it is good for your bones and I found this link https://saveourbones.com/the-whey-to-bone-health/ which mentions
lactoferrin
and I then did a little research on lactoferrin which led me to https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25154204/#:~:text=Lactoferrin

back to the drawing board with aches & pains
My OH was put on a 10-day course for what the doc suspected was a viral infection or a bronchial reaction to Tamsulosin. Hypo Dr lowered dose!
Hi everyone, My Dr. lowered my prescription from 150mcg to 125mcg on the basis of a TSH result of 0.01. Test done as advised on here. No T4 or T3 was done. No discussion about symptoms . In fact it was done without any discussion. I’ve had to wait a month to have an appointment with my Dr. Was not
