Looking for Advice on results and bad doctors.
According to my doctors, since I hit puberty I've had borderline hypothyroidism then I don't.. Then I do.. Then I don't. I actually asked for the manager to print my latest blood results. And whilst they seem in range, I think.. I would just like someone who has hypothyroidism to look over them for me

thoracic spine metastasis & need for spine stabilisation operation
Dx stage 4 prostate CA out of the blue ~ 4mo ago. MRI showed thoracic epidural cord compression but no symptoms (I thought-but that's another story) . Strongly urged to have electron beam therapy (EBT) immediately & delay chemo until later. I refused thanks to advice of radiotherapist at Scripps proton

High c reactive protein
Got my blood results back last week but it indicates high c reactive protein and low b12. My ferritin was also over. I also have problems, pain with my back and hip. I was born with dislocated hips, they used to just bind them up back then until they were no longer causing a problem. I had SPD in all

My First Post - GUIDANCE desperately needed please... 34yrs Female, Seeking interpretation of blood test results. How do i get a diagnosis?
hi, i would greatly appreciate any insight & guidance into reading my blood results. (due to the absolute confusion that is my previously diagnosed medical health history!.. i thought if i list my recent yrs results for interpretation it might be best as a previous diagnosis of Polycythemia Rubra Vera

Dietary issues
I also have 2
whey
protein
shakes which are low carbs. I was told I should not eat so much fruit then it was in not having enough calories! I am getting quite frustrated with it. I don't have much time to prepare foods and the shops do not seem to have much variety for healthy items on the go.

Hello everyone, new to all this and not sure where to start and what line to take next. I've suffered with anxiety, heart palpitations and panic attacks for years, which all seemed to calm down after coming off the pill. It took me four years to become pregnant and I had a health baby in 2014 followed

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Arachidonic acid [AA]
So much for my alphabetic tour - I am back at the letter "A". Arachidonic acid [AA] is an omega-6 fatty acid. I have written a number of posts on inflammation over the years. Most of the chronic diseases, including cancer, are inflammatory in nature. Doctors tend to look at inflammation as a symptom

shed loads of results - anything stick out like a sore thumb?
Just had a load of test results back that Dr Clark in the States wanted me to have done. Does anything stand out like a sore thumb to anyone as being not quite right. Lots of "normal no actions" as usual. The TSH is a little out of date as Clutter and Goosey are aware of recent results before I started

GOING FOR IT!
Communication is so hard isn't it? After a lot of telephoning around and talking to nearly everyone I could - except my urologist who is doing biopsies today at a different hospital. It seems that the hospital should have done Liver function tests so that has put me back a few days because the GP had

Understanding blood test results
Hi all. After 15 years on levo and constantly suffering from fatigue etc I have pretty much demanded an endo referral. My GP ran some blood tests last week and has sent off the referral. The surgery receptionist has printed off the results for me today. Slightly mystified that there are no thyroid results

Bloods
Ok so my GP has told me my results are normal. I've demanded a T3 test! I have no gland whatsoever I was born without one. My results are Serum TSH 1.53 mU/L (.27-4.20) "normal" Serum 4 T4 24.9 pmol/L(11.0-25.0) Serum globulin 18 g/L (19-47) What do you make of these?

Blood Results
I have read that the CR results are more reliable indicators of PMR I have accessed my medical record and am busy digesting the contents spurred on by the fact that test results mostly do not reach my rheumatologist for a number of reasons too silly to take up space here. At the request of my rheumatologist

Study says dairy fat could lower risk of diabetes
Other studies have considered a connection between vitamins and minerals in dairy products and a reduced risk of diabetes or that
whey
protein
could have some effect on diabetes development, but May said results were inconsistent.
