There Is Hope For CKD — My Story
I wanted to share my experience and journey with CKD with you all. I was diagnosed with CKD stage 3 about four years ago when my eGFR went to 57. I saw two nephrologists over the course of four years and had many renal tests done as well as blood work every six months. My eGFR numbers kept decreasing

SWITCHING TO INSULIN INJECTION FROM ORAL
As a Type 2, I have been managing my fasting sugar level of around 120 since the late 90s very successfully by following the devices of my USA-qualified Endocrinologist. My regular diet centered around LCHF with Diamicrone 80 twice a day. Covid-19 changed my whole system. After taking the 2nd dose

Is weight loss even possible?
Has anyone been successful with a special
diet
an/or
weight
loss
? Has anyone visited a dietician with good news? Particularly upsetting is the belly bloat (where I believe at least 2-3 kg is hiding 🤪) Keep well everyone... Anna (Bobbysmum)

How long between huge weight loss till huge weight gain?
I had my last thyroid bloods were done on February 14th 2022 and were TSH 0.03(0.35-5.50) FT4 21.4(10.0-20.0). I have dropped 6kgs or 13.2lbs in weight, so nearly a stone but because the nurse was too lazy to actually weigh me this wasn't picked up for another month and I have gone from a size 14 to

I’ve had celiac disease for ever it seems like but only went gluten free the beginning of this year. All my symptoms were always blamed on not eating a controlled gluten free diet. Now that I am GF, the stomach issues are worse and they say it’s IBS-C. I’ve had a lot of problems with constipation, trying

Another interesting insight from a doctor - this time Dr Nadir Ali at a “low carb down under” conference.
This doctor has realised that the medical profession needs to listen to its knowledgeable patients in order to make progress. Yay!! Here is his first slide. The last word - on the next slide - is “buggy whipped”. For anyone interested in the benefits of a low carb high fat diet, and the reasons why

Hi..I’ve been on strict gluten-free diet since December and so have on and off situations. I see improvement. My iron level and vitamin deficiencies got improved a little bit. I used to have light tingling in my right hand before the diagnose and B12 shots helped me a lot. I’ve never had crazy GI symptoms

Really good video on PEMF and intranasal red light therapy
He talks about using (around $400 -- but he's not trying to sell you anything) an intranasal device that's very easy to use. ... and
penetrates into the brain
. Starts around the 11 minute mark but I suggest you watch the whole thing https://youtu.be/Y8Q1iRCD2zA
