hi everyone I hope you’re doing well. I was wondering has anybody ever heard of the so-called red light therapy. someone had passed on this article to me and I have never heard about it is this just another scam to try to take advantage of us? Or has anybody had any experience with this therapy? Happy holidays and God bless!

Sounds like total BS to me in relation to "treating" MS.

Any site that has a home page that shrieks at viewers that it's "Bringing unbiased awareness to Red Light Therapy Consumers" should have all alarm bells ringing at fever pitch - if they have to claim that the site is unbiased then clearly it's not!!!

The webpage you have directly linked is referencing "studies" in rats and mice - I'd suggest waiting until there have been significant Phase 3 studies in humans before jumping on the bandwagon. And the page has errors in how it describes MS and its symptom development -but there's just enough substance about MS to make it sound good to people who are not well-informed and are therefore vulnerable to being conned. I suggest filing it under "pseudoscience" for the time being until there's some proper evidence (if there ever is any........).

Just gotta love people who think they're helping you by passing on stuff which they think will fix your MS - well intended maybe but still as useful as just telling you to "try harder" - doesn't everyone know that not trying hard enough is the sole reason we still have MS.......

…. Great points I’m forever the optimist but then there’s the reality check!

I didn't see any references on MS Sites for it to help with MS.

I know a couple friends that have used it for skin conditions and say it works great. One has a home unit and has been using it over a year now with great benefits. Haven’t heard of any use for MS 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking the same thing! On the rare occasion I get a facial, they use red light at the end for 15 or so minutes. I haven’t noticed a change in MS 🤷‍♀️

happy season of hope! My gut tells me it is a scam. We hear and read latest reaseach from multiple sources and this does not reflect MS articles but many who want a natural approach may look. I personally would like to update and hear professional studies and results. I wish we can stay alert and positive to understand the new and not be misguided or misled with untrue information. Peace as miracles come this New Year!
