Warning about dental treatment
To cut a very long story short I was eventually referred to a neurologist and after an MRI scan on my head (to check to see if there was anything sinister going on) I was put on massive doses of
voltarol
but aided by a SCENAR therapist I now am off painkillers and just put up with the flare-ups which

Pain in thumb joints and hands
I bought a wrist/thumb support but it’s not helping, nor is the
voltarol
gel.. I’m diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia but suspect EDS and am going to book a consultation with Dr Hakim.

Feet and ankles are screaming at me!
Sorry for being dramatic, but I'm so fed up with my feet and ankles. They are always a problem for me but at the moment they are awful, making walking anywhere a misery. I have sharp pain in ankles and constant burning on the top of my feet and toes. I can't find anything remotely comfortable to wear

Disaster
Managed to limp back home and put ice pack on immediately - lots of
Voltarol
rubbed in - it’s really painful and I can’t really walk properly 😡. So it looks as though my plan to graduate on Thursday is gone - really disappointed and worried about my knee.

De-lurking!
Went to GP who prescribed amitryptylline for the arm, and lansoprazole (made me ill) for the gastritis/indigestion, presumably caused by Brufen which hadn't helped, neither had paracetamol or
voltarol
gel.

Dispersible voltarol
Shes been told she can no longer have the
voltarol
dispersible ones they are not being made any more apparently. She's on methotrexate and other biological treatments but
voltarol
helped manage the pain. Nothing else she's tried is working.

Injured my lower back
I've had a microwave hot bag on it, and also pit some
voltarol
on it. Can anyone suggest things to make it heal quicker?

Personal Trainer sessions
Hey everybody, My DR advised me that loosing weight and exercise will ''help'' with my fibro but due to my weight I struggle with self-esteem (Size 14/16). I lost a lot of weight previously going from a size 22 to a small size 10, but I've quickly chucked the weight back on which I feel is putting strain

Hydroxychloroquin has helped to reduce Steroids
I have found the prescription
Voltarol
relieves muscle pain and double base cream keeps the bruising on my arms down. I hope this post will be of help to those with similar problems. Many rheumatologists don't always suggest this alternative.

At my wits end.
I have oseoarthritis in my right hip and severe coxidynia. I have tried steroid injections, Ibuprofen, voltaren, and other anti- inflammatory medications. They take the edge off the pain but it never goes away. I have also visited a chiropractor, osteopath and physiotherapist. Nothing seems to help.

Not able to take anti inflammatories has anyone got an alternative that I can buy myself, I am using aloe vera and
voltarol
cream, not sure I should be using the latter or even if it helps... Thanks, Gillian
