Is it considered ok to use
Voltarol
cream when taking Pred? I am confused as to whether it's an NSAID. I am hoping to use it on what is supposedly an artritic knee joint.

Arthritis
I take 8 Paracetamol a day, and
Voltarol
Max, to have instant help. I have asked my GP if there is anything different to try, the answer was no. Although I am.

Endometriosis pain
She currently takes paracetamol,
voltarol
/naproxen. However, they seem to be of limited help. Could anyone share with me succesful experiences with pain killers? I am considering taking her to a pain clinic but not sure how to find one specifically focused on endometriosis/pelvic pain.

She told me to try
Voltarol
twice a day. I have done this for a few days and it has made no difference. I do not think this is the beginning of GCA but I wondered if anyone has any advice.

cream be useful do you think? Stretching exercises...or likely to make it worse. All suggestions, or similar experiences welcome. Thank you.

Sudden foot pain
I tried that, Paracetamol and I used
Voltarol
a couple of days too but the pain persists and I can’t walk properly, I limp. I will continue with the ice packs but would a little burst of extra preds help.

Lidocaine Patches/Gel
Buying 4% lidocaine gel and using it as a topical gel like
voltarol
? Would this work? Looking at an infusion. I saw a consultant privately and he recommended a steroid injection but I have several areas that would need injecting so not really an option unless my lottery numbers come up tonight!

Kinds of pain
I assume the muscle pains are the result of pmr weakness, but not actually pmr, so maybe the answer is rest, paracetamol and
voltarol
. I also guess I'm someone for whom pred only works partially. I have a demanding trip coming up in August, and had thought of using the warm (ha!)

Another Quandary
Spoke to doctor in A&E she advised not to take Naproxen because I am taking Prednisolone and it could cause stomach bleed and to use
Voltarol
which really is having very little effect. I presume Naproxen would be more effective for inflammation.

Very sore and swollen hands. Is it possible I now have rheumatoid arthritis?
I use
voltarol
max strength 12hr gel. Is there anything else I can buy over the counter or ask my GP for? Should I just treat when I have a flare up or ask for something for continuous use (daily)? Thanks in advance for replies.

Voltarol (diclofenac): is this NSAID okay for people with ITP?
Does anyone know whether it's okay for people with ITP to use
voltarol
(diclofenac gel) as a topical application? It's an NSAID, which we're told to avoid because of the effect on platelets, but is enough absorbed through the skin to affect platelet levels?

Hip pain
I started V/O treatment in April of this year. Finished O in September, will take 4 V daily to end February. Oncologist says I’m in remission and bloodwork agrees. Side effects are getting worse every day and include pain in both hips and lower back. Bad in morning, better during the day, bad again in
