Completed 3 consolidating runs of 30 mins on Saturday, felt so chuffed. On Sunday day of rest off to gym bit of rowing , elliptical trainer, few weights about 50 mins all in. Ok did get a bit carried away

So yesterday thought tackle first outside run , off I go with Laura and begin on week 5 run 1 . Well blimey gluts really hated it breathing difficult . Managed the middle 5mins but had to stop in first 5 for a bit not long and the 3 rd 5 for a tiny bit. My bum is sore!! Nights sleep only managed with voltarol and paracetamol . New plan hopefully another 30 min run before I leave for Oman ( no running outside there) on return I will run twice a week on mill for 30 mins and then go right back to week 1 for a run a week outside. I realise this will take me 27 weeks to complete but I really want to run outside like you guys,

it sounds so satisfying . Well off to hobble with the dog along seafront! Too much on rest day I rather think .

At least your bum wasn't sore from being sat on too much! Take it easier on rest days and slow and steady on the runs :) .

Ouch! You poor muscles didn't know what hit them 😩

Well done for trying outside. Just persevere but I reckon it won't take you that long to do it. Just remember, very slowly one step at a time.

And in the meantime, just keep runnng 🏃🏃🏃

Keep going with the outdoors, it's worth it. I don't think it will take you that long once you get into it.
