So did Week 9 Run 2 this morning - did run 1 on Saturday and both went well. Now doing about 4.2/3 km in the 30 mins - still hard but know I can get there BUT the last few mins today my dodgy left knee (the one I had surgery on 15 years ago and stopped my running ever since) was a bit sore and tweaky but I had my supports on as always and it wasn’t painful so I just finished the 30 mins - THEN I stopped for the walk cool down - I couldn’t walk😱. Managed to limp back home and put ice pack on immediately - lots of Voltarol rubbed in - it’s really painful and I can’t really walk properly 😡. So it looks as though my plan to graduate on Thursday is gone - really disappointed and worried about my knee. I guess I just need to rest but after all this hard work I’m so upset 😢

Your knee might be fine by Thursday!

I think anxiety plays a part on these big occasions.

Continue with the ice as it's really useful at sorting things out

Be positive! Set backs happen but we keep our heads up 🙂💪👍🏃‍♀️✔️

Ouch! That sounds painful. Make sure you rest it until you feel it's fixed otherwise you could be longer on the IC. You may not graduate on Thursday but I'm sure it won't be long x

Spoke to my Physio today and she said put it up, ice and pain killers and guess what it’s feeling quite a bit better - may be Saturday rather than Thursday but I am determined I’m going to get there!
