Ramblings of an old Parky , Vitamins and finding a professional methodology
I have read so much information on this theme that I should know the subject, but I do not , and the more I read the more I appreciate those professionals that study and research it . My general understanding is that in the past a diet resulting from a complete lack of a particular vitamin would cause

B-vitamins without B12?
Hi all, asking here as I haven't been able to find any through my own searches.. Does anyone know of a B complex that does not contain B12? My b12 is over range but I would still like to take the rest of the Bs to keep them balanced. Someone suggested I look for one that didn't contain b12 or maybe unmethlyated

Tardive dyskinesia. Been on the causative med quetiapine 400 mg for 20 years.Unable to get off it. Been creative. I am a registered nurse.
Annoying when discussing use of
vitamins
with GPs medical professionals. I am not taking them because I am deficient. Using them as a drug. Be very careful with medical supervision and systematic if you try these yourself. Nassty effects may come out of the woodwork.

OCD treatment and homocysteine
Will
vitamins
help treating OCD or just reduce the symptoms? Is antidepressants necessary with ERP? What do you think about those questions?

Osteoporosis
I have been taking
vitamins
, but clearly they are not doing the job. I have no risk factors for osteoporosis—only lupus. Oh yes, and apparently taking hydroxy can increase your risk for osteoporosis. Feeling very down today, I was crying all day at work, and now I feel worn out and depressed.

On 75micrgrms levo but TSH score gone from a normal fluctuating from 2-3 to 8.57 suddenly
All
vitamins
were good apart from b12 and ferritin were on the low side of normal. (I am prescribed ferrous fumerate and I take other vitimins but I’ve had a break recently so maybe it’s down to that?) I am now very confused as to how my TSH has suddenly jumped up like that.

Vitamins
to help? I'm generally very healthy; pescatarian for 40 years, never smoked, very little alcohol, exercise in the form of walking and yoga. I'm aged 59. Any advice and tips would be wonderful, thank you.

Alternative therapy recommendations
I've always preferred to get my
vitamins
from food rather than pills. I've been a bit more erratic with the folic acid and vitamin D the doc suggested, as I eat plenty of green veg and I've been out in the sun more. What alternative things have you found that help?

New to the forum Peak Flow questions
I'm pretty clued up on
vitamins
etc and levels in all areas are good. I get private blood tests done fairly regularly. Thyroid is the one I've never managed to get sorted and remains a problem. Thats roughly how I've got to here and had lots of help on other forums over the last few years.

Maybe I needed some
vitamins
. She called me and told me to go straight to the E R because my thyroid wasn't working. My level was 151. ,normal is 0.4.

Just Diagnosed Kidney Disease Stage 2
Dr just asked me if I took a lot of Ibuprofen -which I don't and what
vitamins
I take - which he said were not a problem. I didn't ask a lot of questions as I was unprepared for this. No advice given really except to drink lots of water and don't take ibuprofen.

I am not on any thyroid medication and stopped all
vitamins
etc before. I take loss dose HRT. Both tests early morning. I don't feel too unwell just a sense of something is not right with joint aches, numb hands and swollen tongue in the morning.
