B-vitamins without B12?

Hi all, asking here as I haven't been able to find any through my own searches..

Does anyone know of a B complex that does not contain B12? My b12 is over range but I would still like to take the rest of the Bs to keep them balanced. Someone suggested I look for one that didn't contain b12 or maybe unmethlyated b12 but starting to wonder if such a thing exists.

I have been taking igennus b and thought since it contained vitamin c which is said to reduce effectiveness of b12 that it would actually work well for me but my b12 continues to rise.

Thanks all!

Not a recommendation because I've not used it, but found with a simple Google search

Biocare Simple B Vitamins (formerly B Plex) - plenty of places sell it showing on Google

Personally I wouldn't worry about about an over range B12 due to supplementing. If you know that your B12 was over range before supplementing that's different, but if it's due to supplementing it's purely that you're taking it and your body will excrete any excess.

Is it Total B12 that's been tested or Active B12?

My Total B12 is very over range, last time tested it was 1,209pmol/L (145-569) but my Active B12 was 123 (range approx 40-210).

Thank you! I will take a look, it is total b12 that the doctors have tested and was overrange but I also got a monitormyhealth test of active b12 and it was 221 but they don't give a range and when I queried it they gave some waffley answer about not having a reference range.

My active B12 test was with Monitor My Health. If you look at the graphic of your results, look to the left hand side of the green band and you will see the numbers that make up the range. 40-210 was the nearest I could get to working out their range.

Have you taken B12 before and that's why your level is high? Or is it naturally high without any supplementation?

I actually did see that one on my searches but the 50mcg of b6 put me off as had read on other posts no more than 10mcg was recommended. It's a minefield, maybe we should make our own!

Ah, I didn't notice that. Yes, I wouldn't want to take 50mcg B6 on a daily basis, I would stick to 10mcg.

I’ve just bought Seeking Health B minus supplement. It’s B12 and folate free. It looks like the best option. Good luck.
