So, about a year ago I started feeling really down tired, really, really bad. I went to see my psychiatrist because my depression. And anxiety got so bad and she sent me to go. Get my blood taken, she thought. Maybe I needed some vitamins. She called me and told me to go straight to the E R because my thyroid wasn't working. My level was 151. ,normal is 0.4.

Has anyone else experienced that kind of high levels because, in my surrounding state, none of the doctors have heard of such a high level? It's been now 4 months and I started feeling bad again so I went back to my Doctor and she took blood.Thyroid level jump back up to 95.1. Should I be really concerned? I am on medicine. So could anyone tell me their struggle? I have to go back to work tomorrow I can't let my family down,

I cannot financially afford more time off.

Thank you for your time,

Xox

Yes we do have some members who had extremely high TSH at diagnosis

Often with high TSH recover really well once dose is fine tuned as your TSH is super responsive.

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking

Your latest results show you are ready for next dose increase in levothyroxine

Dose is increased by 25mcg daily

Retest again in another 6-8 weeks

Meanwhile have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels tested

Or thyroid antibodies to see if cause is autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto’s
