World Mental Health Day
[/i] This group of patients are not tested for
vitamin
B12
deficiency/Pernicious Anaemia, folate or ferritin deficiency. They are prescribed antipsychotics and neuroleptics. In the U.K., they can become institutionalised under the

Osteoporosis - treatment or not ??
My GP doesn't offer regular bloods so I have no idea where my inflammatory markers are at present or indeed
vitamin
D,
B12
, levels are. I have had blood in urine for 25 years due to a minor ?? undiagnosable kidney problem treated with Lisinopril.

Blood results - Any Advice?
In October blood test my
B12
was high (1284) and my
Vitamin
D was 45.2 (I like the D to be higher in the 60's so I am taking a bit more D). The new Dr. did not feel it necessary to take my
vitamin
levels. Just told me to reduce my
B12
vitamin
it's too high and said my D is good.

Estradiol levels high? and progesterone help!
I also have under active thyroid disease and have to have
vitamin

injections, so some symptoms can get confused! HRT has managed hot flushes and other peri-specific symptoms well.

hi again all! I am very depleted in ferritin and am awaiting an infusion. I also started b12 injections 3 months ago for PA but I don’t think they’ve been often enough (1x/month). Also just got diagnosed with subclinical hashimotos (thyroid levels are still normal). I’m grasping at straws trying to

GP must have B12 deficiency too.
So here's the thing there must be GPs or medical professionals who are B12 deficient so it begs the question. How do they feel about how they are treated? How often do they have injections? Do they come up against the same issues we do in the general population? It would be amazingly useful for

how quickly did you regress after B12 loading?
I finished my initial B12 loading almost exactly one month ago and initially felt enormously better. However, during the last week I have started to feel like I did before; irritable, weepy, fatigued, constipated and so on. I really can’t believe I need monthly injections so am thinking I am imagining

Inspired by a post by Wwwdot "One Year Later" I decided to walk the same 5K route that I had walked 6 months ago. I 'knew' my self treatment was successful. I wanted a definitive marker and was willing to face that there was no improvement in my ability to walk the same 5K. A small leap of faith.
