Hi folks,
Undiagnosed with a Thyroid Issue but have been back and forth to various specialists over the past couple of years with numerous health issues.
I was most recently diagnosed with two sleep disorders, one being Sleep Apnoea and the other being Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (neurological... similar to Restless Legs Syndrome).
My main symptoms are fatigue, muscle weakness and brain fog. I also seem to have slow digestion and chronic acid reflux.
Most recently I often feel like I have a lump in my throat when I swallow saliva. I also feel a 'hardness' at the sides of my throat when I lay on my back (tonsils were removed years ago but area is rock hard where they used to be). I can actually press around the thyroid area and something seems to push inwards (it almost 'clicks'). My throat then tends to be a little more comfortable.
I had my TSH (1.99) and Free Thyroxine (17.7) tested last year - normal results. I have low B12 which is treated with injections and borderline Ferritin.
Just wondered if anyone on this board might have some thoughts on this?
