”Surplus” B12 in urine
Hi Guys Had an unexpected breakthrough today, Thursday. I am away from home and I forgot to pack my B12 and needle, syringe etc. I have my “emergency” jab in my handbag so decided to save that for the drive home tomorrow, Friday. So today, no B12 jab. So in the morning I took 2 x oral methylcobalamin

Alendronic Acid
I’ve been diagnosed with Osteopenia. About 7 months ago I was given vitamin d and calcium tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to

My Medichecks active b12 is 63.1 (range is 37.5-188) but my serum b12 tested at my gp surgery shows top of range. Should I supplement? I also have hypothyroidism. Thank you

Serum b12 V Active b12
I’ve just received my active b12 result from Medichecks. It was 63.1 yet my recent serum b12 from my GP surgery was over the top of the range. Over the years I have always had top of range serum levels . Should I supplement with vitamin b12? Thank you

please forgive how long winded this will be I’m spaced out and not with it at all. I only posted a few months ago and my T4 results were a little on the high side. I was on 200mcg of Levo and alternate day 225mcg. I’ve reduce this down to 200mcg over 5 days and two doses of 25mcg over 2 days. Example

Hi, I thought I would share some good news. Three years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and started on alendronic acid with dome reluctance. After a rough first couple of weeks I got used to the medication. I modified my diet a bit, stsrting tsking Vit D and calcium, increased my BMI from 18.2

Vit blood test
Hello lovely people. Following my recent thyroid blood test with MMH, it was suggested that as my T3 was very low I should ask GP for further Vit tests. This I did with a note included in thyroid blood test results. Today, received a letter from surgery (dictated on day I dropped off my results) calling

supplements to help DA withdrawal
I am wondering if anyone has used natural supplements like amino acids to increase dopamine while tapering off Pramaprexole? I have wondered if it would help with the decrease in dopamine while tapering. Also has anyone used Modafinil with any luck in helping energy and mood?

The drive to reduce minimize supplementation?
I experience the feeling that reducing supplementation to be "good". It seems to be the medicial fields creed. Perhaps the medicial field's hippocratic oath is a large part of it. That they see the undersumplimentation or not supplementation as doing no harm. When in fact it is the safest thing for them

Chronic inability to fall asleep/maintain/resume sleep and electric shock sensation.
Hi everyone,Hope we're doing better today. I have been on methyl cobalamin capsules (meconerv forte) for three months now. I was on 1 tablet (1000mcg) daily. I didn't notice much improvement and the doc increased to 2 tab(2000mcg) daily. Fatigue improved but I still have chronic insomnia, anxiety, depression

Worried about TSH levels :( 0.04mlU/L
I am taking a small 3mg of T3 with a private prescription and my NHS endo has said, this prescription is causing my lower TSH - but that feels like I'm being gaslight again. I'm feeling soo fatigued and stressed trying to get it sorted. I know I need to my levels on the lower side due to previous thyroid

How to persuade TSH-obsessed Endo I'm not over-replaced (on T3-only)?
Hello, I am posting because I'm hoping for some advice for an Endo meeting on Tuesday. There is a possibility that the NHS Endocrinology team at my local hospital might just be contemplating 'widening' their approach to T3 (historically for me, a violent slam in the face 'NO! Get off T3 immediately or

R-alpha Lipoic Acid
I read in the Autumn 2023 ME Association magazine that R-Alpha Lipoic Acid could be helpful for someone with ME. I use Methotrexate for my RA. Has anyone used this supplement with Methotrexate?
