heartburn/acid reflux?
Hi all, I just started injections for low B12 (caused by pernicious anemia, as confirmed by antibody testing and an endoscopy) around 3 weeks ago now. While I still feel tired I can already tell that some of my symptoms are improving: I have more energy and I am also having less indigestion. But weirdly

Lab Results and asking for increase in meds
Here are my lab results fasting and before 9 am without taking levothyroxine and t3. I want to ask for an increase in levothyroxine and T3. I am currently taking 75mcg levothyroxine and 5 mcg of T3 once a day. Also, I use the D3 spray. When I asked for an increase before, the doc stated that my TSH

bright yellow urine
has anyone experienced bright yellow ( almost neon) urine from taking b supplements? Online it says that excess of b2 or b12 can cause this. I’m slight confused as I’ve only been taking 2 per day of Igennus b complex and 1 per day of the Solgar Methylcobalamin 1000µg. I didn’t think that these would

At What Level Is Low B12 Treated?
Hi! I recently had some blood tests and my B12 came back low at 180, normal range 197-771. My folate was 4.7, normal range 3.9-26.8. Full blood count and ferritin fine, I had iron deficiency anaemia and have been successful treated for that and all those levels looking good. My question is, at what

Blue Horizon Thyroid Gold test price drop and Active B12 inclusion
Hello, I know someone who knows someone etc. at Blue Horizon. And it has been annoying me that they haven't included Active B12 in their Thyroid Gold Premium test as really that only leaves me with Medichecks Advanced Thyroid which is in theory fine, but I like to have a choice. So I told the person

B12 self-💉s: dose, form ... & frequency . . .
One small study from ~2015 of B12 💉s showed the benefits reported in those with CFS/ME & FM varied with: a) form of B12, . . . - methyl- form better than hydroxo-, b) frequency - those having more frequent 💉s did/felt better, . . . & c) dose - 5mg methyl better than 1mg hydroxo . . . Seems like

Dental work and AA
I am having a tooth implant done this week, on Wednesday. The surgeon knows I take Alendronic Acid and has advised to not take it on the morning of the procedure. He also said it was okay to take (should take?) a 3 month holiday from Alendronic Acid. Have you heard of that? The procedure involves drilling

looking for advice please
Hi, not really sure what I’m looking for. Perhaps guidance or reassurance. I stumbled across this site whilst googling symptoms and so happy to find somewhere that isn’t as scary as Dr Google! A little background, I’m 37, non drinker. About 18 years ago I started to get pain under my right ribs. I

Hevert B12
I have been sent by a friend in Germany Hevert B12 1 ampule with 2 ml and 1000 ug hydroxocobalaminacetat so normal amount of B12 in double amount of liquid. I seem to react quite strongly to the other ingredients becoming very red and itch even in my most recent one in leg which I had thought was ok

Injections stopped.
I was noticeably improved feeling good, after 21 weeks of EOD SI. Then I had antibiotics for a water infection, Nitrofurantoin.By day 3 of antibiotics I began to feel off. Mouth coated with something, (thrush) eyes not good, headaches, nervous, limping a bit, hot spark-like tingling, tired on waking.

79yo male with classic tale of RLS. Started at 17yo. Progressing over the years. Augmentation last Christmas on Pramipexole and a hell of a time transitioning to gabapentin. Unfortunately though I could not stop the attacks even on high doses and taking it as advised by Sue Johnson. Helpful doc allowed

New Pernicious Anemia diagnosis
Hi Everyone,In a sleepy state here, getting no response from my GP, my next NHS B12 injection due on 1st September. What do you wish you'd know sooner? What can I be doing to help myself get out from under the duvet and the cat? I can't seem to think beyond basic single tasks. Everything is so overwhelming

pain?
Anybody else have pain on waking, from hips and legs up to arms & shoulders--not explained by exercise or lack thereof? Can barely hobble about the house to get my meds and feed the cat. Sometimes it helps to tighten all the muscles to form an upright posture--but as soon as I loosen them to move, it

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

Hi Guys In a nutshell, gut issues mean if I eat more than once a day I get IBS symptoms, starts with severe groin cramps, then bloating, then diarrhoea etc. Been like this for over a year now. I cope by drinking kefir all day then a meal after 6 pm when I can eat ANYTHING without any problems at
