Wisdom please

I have vague symptoms (mild nausea, light headed/faint feeling, much better when outside walking etc) that I had before getting tested for DIO2 gene (tested positive) and prescribed T3 5 mg (split daily between two doses). Also take 50mg levo M/W/F and 75 mg S/S/T/T.

Went to GP with symptoms and said I thought it was my thyroid…tested bloods there and then.,.middle of day, taking B12 etc, full stomach etc.

Retested under conditions advocated here. The results are as follows:

NHS 30 Aug 2023

T4 12.2, T3 5.6 TSH 0.48

Medichecks. 20 Sept 2023

T4. 17.0. T3 3.9. TSH 1.15.

Any thoughts/wisdom please?

Thank you in advance.

Please can you add lab ranges for each of results. As the tests were completed by different lab the ranges are likely to differ.

Thank you PurpleNails - my error the ranges for:

NHS 30/08/23

T3 5.6 range 3.8-6.0

T4 12.2 range 7.9-14.4

TSH 0.48 range 0.38 - 5.33

Medichecks 20/09/23

T3 3.9 range 3.1-6.8

T4 17 range 12-22

TSH 1.15 range 0.27-4.2

Which might address my lightheadedness, mild nausea, better when outside walking.

Again, thank you,

I found wildly different results for my ferritin and TSH between the private finger pricks and NHS tests, even when accounting for range.
