Duty Reclaim - Ongoing Saga!
Hi All 26 days ago I posted about my shock at receiving a charge from customs. I made a reclaim based on that the B12 was for personal use and I received this reply: "[i]I am currently assessing your BOR286 refund request for your shipment of Vitamin B12 injectable Hydroxocobalamin. This shipment

3 Months of EOD B12 Injections
Hi I have been doing EOD sub cut injections of Hydroxycobalamin for 13 weeks now. The peripheral neuropathy in my feet has not improved. If anything it might be worse, but that could be from something else. Have I given this long enough to rule lack of B12 out or do I need to keep going? Some

HNY!... and a warning for those who lead busy lives (aka all of us)
Firstly, I'm conscious I haven't posted in a while. 2023 has been a tumultuous and stressful year for me personally which involved a very close family member being diagnosed with cancer at the start of the year and much of my life for the next 6 months revolving around that. It's not why I'm here, but

Grade 3 Fatty Liver - Liver Enzymes keeps on elevating
Last month I was diagnosed with grade 3 fatty liver through an ultrasound. I am 27 & extremely obese ( BMI - 33 ) . Just before that I had a drug reaction which led to short term Hemolytic Anemia and Jaundice . At that time everything on my LFT was elevated . It's been 40 days everything else on my LFT

Polyneuropathy.
I treat my polyneuropathy with B6 and B12. GracePV shared their experience with B6, B12 nd B1. This inspired me to revisit my self treatment of my polyneuropathy. I came across information about Benfotiamine which is similar to Thiamine Hydrochloride and Thiamine Nitrate. There are indications

I will try and keep this as short as possible. 21 years ago GP diagnosed PA and up until 3 years ago I had B12 injections every 12 weeks. 3 years ago the CCG instructed GP's to cut down giving injections to anyone unless they had PA. My jobsworth GP decided to give me a blood test, which was in range

GCA confirmed after Ear pain
Just to let you know that the result of my temporal artery biopsy has been confirmed as positive today. I had the biopsy on monday, just 3.5 weeks after initially going to the GP with earache. I am amazed actually as it was a result of knowledge on this forum that prompted me to go back to my GP, after

How do you obtain B12 injections in Australia? There seems to be a serious scarcity. Does anyone know an outlet .?

How to inject Hevert ampoules
I ordered the Hevert B12.A few responses were from people who had used these ampoules. These ampoules contain a lot more liquid than Panpharma ones. Can you tell me how to use them please. Do I inject in two goes or is it safe to inject the full amount at once. I am now doing sub cut but will go back

B6 and tingling in toes
My brother has been experiencing tingling in his toes. A retired doctor who my brother sees socially told him to have B12 tested, and also B6. I briefly googled B6 and saw reports in general websites that both high and low levels of B6 can cause tingling in toes. My brother told me that his B6 tested

Alendronic Acid and Methotrexate
I've had PMR for about two years. All symptoms vanished completely as soon as I was put on Prednisolone (15mg per day), but I had a bad experience with trying to reduce, as advised by both GPs and my rheumatologist, by large cliff-edge steps--from 15mg to 12.5mg, then 10mg, all in a very few weeks.

New smaller needle issue
Following recommendations on here. I used 31G 6 mm Needle for subcutaneous, I've previously been using 1inch needles for I M injections. I have just used the new 31G needle and have a lump on my thigh under my skin is this normal? Has the B12 gone in? What have I done wrong??

b12 testing
My worry is this. I had low b12 2 years ago (aug 2022) , it came back in the 200s, can’t quite remember. I had loading doses and it came back in 900s. The doctors left it at that. Then in September of this year (2 months ago) it came back at 390 (180-900). Ive been feeling worse and worse ever since

Advice please - B12 auditory/optical neuropathy
Does anyone have any experience of sight and hearing loss with B12. My daughter (27) suffered with low B12 and was nearly reduced to being wheelchair. There is a family history of PA etc. The severity of her symptoms means that she has has been injecting every day and has regained 95% of her mobility

GP preparation after bloods
Hi, have had my 7 week blood test after starting Levo for Hashimotos, on 100 mg. I have a GP call to discuss the results on 2 Jan and I am just pre-empting her telling me to stay where I am as TSH has dropped from 6.6 to 1.6. I have felt better in ups and downs but feeling less good this end of the
