Have you had EMDR and what was your experience with PTSD relief?
Hey there everyone, I have been working through PTSD since I can remember. I have had therapy for the past 3 years and have "graduated" to EMDR. I really want something that will help with my symptoms. Like, really help me move on and live my best life without that panic and paranoia.

So today I had another lucentis injection, pictures and finally saw my dr. The scans showed no leaking and sight test was good, I have brvo. He said I can go 8 weeks between injections now but then said he wants me to have laser treatment as a preventative measure for the future. I asked why and he just

Sodium benzoate in soft drinks?
Hi everyone. I hope you are doing ok in this difficult time. I wanted to know if anyone has ever had a reaction to sodium benzoate (also known as E211), which is a preservative found in a lot of processed foods. Sometimes I feel that my throat/chest is a bit irritated when I drink Diet Coke but then

Thought I saw something a few days ago about this. Im at 6.5 mg prednisone. Im pretty active but always have a sleepy feeling like I want to close my eyes. Its hard to read for too long too now im thinking its not exhaustion but an eye problem . is this from prednisone or PMR?

Eye Ache - cause for concern?
Diagnosed with GCA in October: initially on 60mg of Prednisolone, reduced in stages, reaching 35mg on Monday 28th December. No adverse effects or return of October symptoms, but I have had the occasional, momentary mild ache in my right eye. This may have been going on unnoticed for months, long before

Chronic Uveitis & Meds for lifetime...?
I’ve had Uveitis for around 15 years & after several years of severe long term flares, permanent loss of sight in left eye (due to botched cataract operation & lens replacement, many injections in the eyeball & long term steroid use) I was in remission for about 5 years. But for the last 6 months, a

Pregnenolone - things to look out for
I’ve just started using pregnenolone to address low testosterone and progesterone issues. Having just had one of my “moments” (sudden anxiety, shakes, cold, tiredness, racing heart), it’s spurred me into posting what I had forgotten to weeks ago! Is there anything I should look out for? Will it negatively

Has anyone experienced swollen eye lids at the base of the lid and lashes?
After three years, I finally tapered off of prednisone at the end of LAST December. In the beginning of March, I noticed a bit of swelling and it has become worse with some stye's under the lids over the last nine months. I've been to eys doctors and skin docs and no one has been able to help me

Benefit advice please
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can advise me. I am currently struggling to continue to work full time even though I have work adjustments and working from home. I am currently in receipt of Pip at standard rate for both living and mobility components. If I have to give up work are there other benefits

Watery hooded & puffy eyes
Im suffering from watery eyes, and the water runs in to my glasses. My eyelids are hooded and look like slits and I have huge bags underneath them just to compliment my puffy cheeks that are a permanent Christmas shade of red! The inside corner of my right eye is a little tender. GCA is on left side

Hydroxychloroquine brand change. Increased symptoms.
Has anybody experienced that a change in brands of hydroxychloroquine has not been as effective? I usually take Plaquenil (I live in Australia). Due to the pandemic and also due to an entrepreneur buying up all supplies of Plaquenil in past months I had to swap to Hequinel’ brand, as Plaquenil was not

EMDR Therapy?
Hello Everyone. I am new here. I am curious to know if anyone is doing EMDR therapy? I am hopeful that it will work for me, but would like to connect with others who are going through EMDR currently or have completed it. Thanks so much.

GCA?
My friend is suffering excruciating pain in her eye: her eye is inflamed and swollen around it: the hospital yesterday diagnosed blepharitis but anti biotics haven’t helped so far....she now has a migraine ( she does suffer from these). Does one have external swelling with GCA? To be fair the anti biotics

Treatment for dry, peeling lips
What do you use for Sjogrens dry, peeling lips? I have had lupus for 30 years, and a variety of dry eye and salivary gland issues, that have at times been severe. Been treated for both. Also have dry sinus, and sleep apnea. Even if I use items to prevent mouth breathing during sleeps, lips still

Super anxious about wisdom teeth removal
So I was told I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed and will likely have it done next month. But I’m super nervous. Weirdly though it’s not the pain or anything like that that I am nervous about. It’s the being put to sleep and the being taken care of by people. I am going to fight hard to be kept
