After three years, I finally tapered off of prednisone at the end of LAST December. In the beginning of March, I noticed a bit of swelling and it has become worse with some stye's under the lids over the last nine months. I've been to eys doctors and skin docs and no one has been able to help me

I had a similar problem also same timing. I was advised to do warm compress daily and it improved. One however remained ... stubborn. Recently (4 weeks ago) I gave up gluten, dairy, sugar also started taking tumeric, Vitamin C, zinc not sure which but it has gone, thank God. Take care.

Is it blepharitis?

Warm compresses and good eyelid hygiene are both very helpful and probably worth trying anyway.

Have you tried using Micellar water to gently wipe your eyes? GP sent me to local Optician who diagnosed Blepharitis and, following his suggestion I started using this well over 18 months ago. Brilliant stuff - stopped streaming eyes and removed all irritation. You can get it at any chemist, online, Boots etc. If you're in UK you can get a leaflet online from NHS which might help. Good Luck!

I've tried almost everything and although some swelling has gone I have one persistent large stye and two smaller. Micellar water certainly soothes but these stubbornly remain. Also my eyes become very watery in the evenings. I saw my GP about this just before the first lockdown - that's how long I've had it - and he said it would probably never go completely. I'm waiting to see him proved wrong.

Yes, I had it, but when I used mascara. I don't know if it was a low-quality mascara or just an allergy and an eye tumor at the base.. I started going for eyelash extensions wizard, but I can't go with them for more than two weeks, and it's expensive. I decided to try to glue the whole eyelashes myself and there were no problems with this, the eyes do not swell, the glue holds well, water-resistant. The problem was that I could not find suitable high-quality eyelashes, with the effect of 3d rays. I found an interesting service on the forums acelashes.com where I found that model. I took myself from an artificial mink and probably will order more, I will experiment with different models.
