I have been working through PTSD since I can remember. I have had therapy for the past 3 years and have "graduated" to EMDR. I really want something that will help with my symptoms. Like, really help me move on and live my best life without that panic and paranoia.

I did EMDR therapy and found it very beneficial. I had c-ptsd from childhood bullying and emotional neglect and as a consequence I developed social anxiety disorder. Over the years I tried numerous therapies and modalities and medications. I spent many years misdiagnosed as having general anxiety disorder. A few years ago I figured out that I actually had social anxiety and trauma (c-ptsd) from the bullying. I found a trauma therapist who utilized EMDR and worked with him. I also did a genetic test to determine which meds were best suited for me and started on one that was recommended.
The combination of working with the trauma therapist and EMDR plus the right medication allowed me to heal and recover. It also eliminated my social anxiety. Of all of the different therapies I tried over the years, Somatic Processing, EMDR and appropriate talk therapy were the most helpful.
If it is possible for you, I recommend working with a trauma therapist who incorporates EMDR into their therapy process not just an EMDR practitioner.
