Hi Since taking Urso these last few weeks my blood pressure has raised a bit and I get headaches like i used to before having bp pills...I am wondering if the bp tablet is not working with the urso? It is the same sort of headache I used to have, it comes on at night. I take it in the morning just

Promising response to fenofibrate
Some of you may remember a couple of months ago I was asking if anyone had tried fenofibrate to treat PBC. Only a small number of people here had been prescribed it. PBC DVD for CDN Lady
I've heard mention of a DVD on this site for those of us with PBC. I live in Ontario, Canada, was diagnosed in 2013 but have received very little information specific to PBC from the Canadian Liver Foundstion and definitely no DVD. Would it be possible to receive one of the PBC DVDs in Canada, please

Anyone been diagnosed with hypothyroidism since they've had PBC?
I have been diagnosed with PBC about 3 years now and on this 6 monthly blood test my TSH is now 10. It was 4.5 in July. My T4 is normal. I was having a 6 month break off URSO to see if it affected my ALT and ALP as they were fairly borderline go starting it in the first place. They have worsened a bit

Getting my head round this PBC
So 3 weeks ago I was told I had PBC. Put on urso I take 2 250mg tabs one in morning and one in the evening. Felt a bit rough at 1st but appear to be getting used to it all. However I do have to watch what I eat. I'm reasonably healthy most of the time. But I do have a sweet tooth. Have found chocolate

Urso prices skyrocketing in US
Hello all! I was diagnosed with PBC in 2014 and have been relatively lucky so far to deal well with the URSO and also deal well prices on the drug. The last two years my deductible on my insurance was met due to lots of medical issues and tests, so my drugs have been pretty cheap. So as January approaches

Feeling rough
I am tired, had an awful headache and sickly feeling when eating. Bladder seems to be working overtime and bowel not working. Could this be Urso?

PBC and Hepatitis
Hi Everyone, Festive greeting for all on the first day of December. I was confirmed PBC 2 1/2 years ago with blood tests and liver biopsy. A week ago I saw my specialist after my GP had phoned him with some concerns. The consultant told me from original blood works done on me he thought I had both PBC
