The rise of LFT
Just had my consultant letter to start URSO nervous of the side effects. Also my ALP gone from 135 in May to 158 in October. Is it normal for it to rise so fast. Normal top of range is 130.

PBC, Tired, Moody, & Fibromyalgia???
This is just me venting really. I was diagnosed about 1 1/2 years now, and have been on Urso for that long. The fatigue is still a HUGE problem, and it makes me such an unhappy person. My neurologist says I also have Fibromyalgia... if that's a real thing...I'm always so moody, and temperamental because

I was diagnosed in Sept 2012 and put on URSO. I have always suffered from extreme gas since I was a teenager. It has nothing to do with what I eat...it comes from stress... Has anyone had a severe increase in their amount of gas while on URSO. I mean severe gas, I get so swollen my stomach looks like

Feeling deflated
I had my first 6 month appointment since diagnosis on Thursday its left me a bit upset. All my blood works were within normal boundaries which is great as the Urso is obviously doing its job. But every other thing I tried to discuss he told me was not connected to my PCB... My left and right side pain

Change of tablets
Hello I was diagnosed with PBC two years ago and have been taking Urso since then and been ok. I also take Warfarin as I have a heart condition. My GP has suggested I could come off Warfarin and change to a NOACs which is a new type of blood thinner. I wondered if anyone else here takes one of the NOACs

Urso side effects
I've been taking the Urso for 4 days, I've had a terrible headache all 4 days. I've taken a few doses of ibuprofen to try to manage it. I've also had stomach cramps, diarrhea, a low grade fever, back and neck pain. Can anyone tell me if these symptoms will let up or is this permanent?

Worried!
I've just moved from West Yorkshire to West Sussex and while in Yorkshire, attended the liver unit at St James hospital and really happy with the care. Now I have just received a letter from Surrey and Sussex hospital saying that I have been referred to a Gastroenterology Consultant?? I'm sure that

Anyone else diagnosed with PBC stage zero? I just got my diagnosis after a liver biopsy and I started Urso 300 3 times per day. My ANA is 1:2560 and AMA is 1:163. Liver enzymes not too high. Wondering if an anti-inflammatory diet would make more sense than jumping on Urso. I had a thyroidectomy 20 years

Advice please - PBC stages and healing after surgery
Newly diagnosed with PBC in July 2016 after itching for almost 12mths. Just had the results from my biopsy that say I am stage 3 of 6 (my understanding is there were 4?!) with definite fibrosis and significant inflammation, indicative of the disease being aggressive which they do see in younger people
