Quick Urso poll

Hi folks

I am just interested how you all take your Urso. I'm on liquid form and I know some are on tablets. So a small poll. Just tell me what you use : Liquid or Tablets ........

Was there a reason for you having the liquid version Mike? I am having real problems with the tablets and I'm wondering if it is worth trying the liquid as some people have suggested to me it may be the fillers in the capsules causing the issues for me and not the urso itself.

To tell you the truth I was only offered the liquid version. I did ask if I could change as it's a bit inconvenient at times especially if your out. As I'm on 350mg x 3 I can't have tablets as apparently in the uk they only come in 250mg size.

Yeah I think those are the ursofalk capsules. I would have thought that 4x250mg was close enough to 3x350 myself - but then I'm not a doctor! There are also 300mg and 150mg tablets. I'm sure I tried them. I am in UK so may be worth asking...........3x300 and 1x150 comes to exactly the same figure as 3x350 I think. Too late for maths!

I take 500 mg 2 x daily. I was told its basex on weight. Getting concerned that 2 months i lose my insurance and the tablets are very expensive. I live in US. So while my lft are normal for the 1st timein many years. I didnt realize there was a fibroscan that could be done nor of a liquid.

I was put on liquid at firs but hated using that so asked to change to capsules which was done for me. I found much easier to use. I think most people do take tablets.

I want to go on tablets but their only do them in 250mg and I'm on 350 😩

I think I react to one of the ingredients in the tablet form. I noticed this years ago and the liquid doesn't contain that particular ingredient. I am long term PBC and I hate itching. I think that ingredient makes me itch but it may be one other ingredient so I am doing an elimination trial at the moment for me not generally.

Has anyone experienced hair loss while taking Urso. I am noticing severe hair loss. I take two capsules of 250 mg daily. I wonder if that is too high for me. I am a 75 yr old female and weigh 92 lbs. I was diagnosed in November when my rheumatologist found my AMA ratios high. I am very distressed and find myself not wanting to take the Urso meds.
