One more shift
Well I have one last shift tomorrow morning. I don't usually do mornings cause my body doesn't wake up till 1 pm but I am desperate to finish these hours so I can take the time off I need on sick leave. I have had a better day today, no brain zaps from Effexor withdrawals. That's a lot more than

Bilateral nephrostomies and bladder infections
My husband has had bilateral nephrostomies fitted since Feb this year, he had kidney stents before that. His cancer is advanced and diagnosed in 2013 after bladder retention caused him to be admitted to hospital ( we are in UK). It was decided to put him on hormone injections and he has them 6 monthly

Cytomel costs in the UK.
Having suffered some real problems with the NHS T3 I have finally got my Gp to approve a move over to Cytomel. However getting it here in the UK has been a major problem. One pharmacist said "its not got a unit price on the agreed index so I can't get it for you", but the truth is some what different

Rise and fall of AFP
Hi! My son is 22 months, and so far has only been diagnosed with hemihypertrophy. We have started the BWS tests through our geneticist, but the first 2 labs came back normal. Endo & Urine Retention?
Hi everyone - I'm new here and getting ready for my first lap in October to definitively diagnose endo and remove any that they find. It's already confirmed that I have a 6cm cyst around my left ovary and smaller ones on both ovaries. Oddly, I have also been having trouble urinating over the past few

HIFU for Stage 2?
I saw where HIFU is being promoted by Cleveland Clinic Canada. It is only just being made available (at very few facilities) in the US. I am in the queue to get IMRT external beam radiation as my TURP'd prostate not considered a candidate for surgery. I'd have to reach into my own pocket to go with HIFU

Cystitis symptoms
Hi all, I don't often post on here but read the majority of posts and am often helped by them and the fantastic replies. What a brilliant site. Yet again I am suffering with cystitis symptoms and yet again the tests have come back clear, no infection. Does anyone have this problem. I'm not one for googling

UroLift anybody?
Hey everybody, Many of us suffer with BPH. It's now time for me to deal with it. Not that I haven't had a stupendously large prostate, that has been problematic for a few years now. Of course it eventually blocked my urethra, plus cystitis, and my uro at the time hadn't a clue. Now to fix it, they want

Feeling like I'm not all here
I've been diagnosed with anxiety and ADHD. I'm not taking any medication. So lately (for about a month) I've been feeling sort of light headed, tired, and feel like part of my mind is somewhere else. At first I thought it was just tiredness, but I took a nap and it was the same. I seem to be able to
