Day 2 of hell on earth. Any tips?
This has been the second day in a row in which I am so super emotional it sucks. I’m physically exhausted and sick. I don’t know how to calm myself down. I try a bunch of things but it doesn’t work. Meds, essential oils, music, crosswords, reading, writing, mindfulness, art in every form, therapy, groups

ADHD and relationships
Hi there everyone, I've been diagnosed with ADHD for about 5 years now. It explains a lot about why I do weird stuff but not why I have seem to have trouble with relationships. For example, it seems to take me forever to get over difficult events, like a break up. I have an almost obsessive thinking

My diagnosis of prostate cancer
I'm new here. I complained to my primary care physician about extreme difficulty in urination. Hr referred me to the urologist mid-June of this year. I had a biopsy - the results were cancer all through the prostate. Bone scan confirmed it had spread to the bones, so I started lupron August 11.

Benlysta
A few weeks ago I was approved to begin Benlysta therapy. I currently take Azathioprine, Hydroxychloroquine, Losartin (bp) and Tramadol (pain). It seems that my meds are no longer effective, so my Rheumy will start me on Benlysta. Is there anyone currently on Benlysta? If so, does it seem to work for

My harrowing patient journey
By evening time, I had gone into acute
urinary
retention
(AUR). I called an ambulance and was taken to A/E where I was constantly rushing to the toilet but could not void. I had to wait 2 hours for 3 catheter attempts and pain relief.

Urine Infection
So the last few days have been interesting. I ended up at the out of hours gp at 2am Thursday morning with a raging urine infection. It went from just constantly needing a pee at 7pm to being doubled over in pain with blood in my urine by half past 10. Not pleasant! What made it worse was that I'm on

Operation looming
Hi there all you brave and lovely ladies I have just returned from Miami and the Caribbean where I had an amazing holiday with my hubby, pic attached ( excuse the windswept wet look as it’s an action shot on a jet ski!) We decided to bring it forward as thankfully I feel completely well but unfortunately

I have an interstim implant in my back running through my spine for
urinary
retention
due to a pre sacral neurectomy. I had a total Hysterectomy (uterus, cervix, and tubes) July 14, 2017. I had to work surgeries prior to that decision as well as did six months of lupron.

Hey all. I've read some research over my time with PD on gamma and alpha light therapy. The papers didn't seem too positive as regards its efficacy but I have some close friends who have had some very good results with this. One had PD and the other early Alzheimers. Note that the former is correctly

UTIs and bowel issues - endo link?
I keep reading so many people talking about endometriosis and UTIs. I’ve suffered with chronic UTIs since I was 16, constant cystitis. Sometimes infections would show up other times not. There was some inflammation seen on a cystoscopy inside my bladder and bleeding. At this point I had pain free periods
