Good luck! For low mood I've only benefited from taking vitamin B complex supplements, and when i have a vit D injection. Sometimes it's harder to feel good so was thinking of asking gp for meds for the anxiety because I get easily wrapped up in my anxious thoughts but so far I've gotten by on staying aware and focused as much as possible. Tiring though!

I have tried amino acids such as tyrosine. I've also tried sam-e, valerian, passion flower and kava. Also, healthy doses of zinc and magnesium and b and d vitamins in the morning. Many of these can be very helpful. I think it also depends on what stage your depression and anxiety is at. I am currently on meds again because my symptoms became quite severe again. As depression and anxiety can be episodic, sometimes it's manageble and sometimes debilitating. I think those herbs and supplements can be very helpful if you're feeling in a manageble stage. I know people who manage their symptoms on those alone. I have at times done it myself. Best wishes!
Before that I used Bach rescue remedy and a Bach remedy bottle from Bach shop online Bach flower advice, you can email Tom on the site. I found very helpful. What are the aloe supplements.
I have been on meds for 5 weeks but am still having severe anxiety all day. I am thinking of coming off meds. I have made appointment with clinical hypnotist, he is a physchologist. I have been using videos on my iPad for relaxation hypnotics. Michael Sealey, he has lots on you tube. Sends me off to sleep in 10, never get to end of video. Fabulous voice.
Hi Mrs.B08. What natural supplements are uou taking ? What are aloe supplements? What meds were you taking, and how long did you take them ? I too would rather take the natural approach.
I'm. Taking aloe vera gel. Drink it every morning ... basically enhances what's already in the body. The aloe range is great ..for anxiety (royal jelly) the range is so extensive and all natural.... I love it . Also great for Weight loss memory depression and general well being.
However this is just my personal opinion...but it's been great for me so far.... x
