My BG Test after 3 months
Today I went for my regular sugar checkup. I was very much surprised as everything was under control. As I was not hoping the results to be that much good. HBA1C is 5.6(last time it was 6.1). Creatinine is normal and Urine test is also normal. I was so happy that I had a cup of

Urobilinogen
Could anyone tell me the significance of urobilinogen showing on a lab stick urine test please ? With relation to possible PA ? Whites of eyes now very slightly yellowed too. I'm not diagnosed, non supportive GP, a myriad of symptoms that have worsened since surgery 7 weeks ago. Father with PA and I

Can anyone tell ne if there is a preferred method of iodine testing please- urine or pinprick, neither being loading dose?
Hi, Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any difference in accuracy please between a pinprick or urine test? It seems neither involves having a loading dose first. I'm interested in checking iodine levels and adrenal levels, before starting thyroid supplementation. Any advice very gratefully

I'm new here and I am not sure if I have endometriosis....
Hi, ever since I started my periods, I never experienced period pains...maybe had some flatulation and very very mild cramping, but besides that I thought I was incredibly lucky. Just under two years ago I had the copper IUD put in and my periods became heavier and oh god, so very painful at the start

Hello there, I recently had an MMA urine test done via Medichecks and the results came back 'normal'. I no that that word is sometimes a bit hazy so just wanted to know what you kind folks thought about the following results: Methylmalonic acid Urine: 0.42 mg/L Creatinine: 0.17

New to here
Hi, I'm new to here. Just wanting to connect with other parents in the same position. My husband and I have a four and a half year old girl who wets herself daily. She has never been dry. She has been out of nappies in the day for almost two years now and we haven't got anywhere in terms of her knowing

Tests and Tests but no answers yet.
Hi All, I posted several months back due to the fast speed of facial hair, fatigue. We are talking full facial hair like a mans. I returned to the doctors to be told all blood tests showed nothing and the GP told me to get electrolysis as I am fair. I returned to see a male GP who did more detailed bloods

Dr's visit as expected yesterday- he "doesn't believe" evidence I printed off for him :(
Well yesterdays visit to my GP was a farce as predicted, and once again, despite taking my printed sheets ( from library here and links sent via forum) I came away in tears. I took my partner with me as back up and another pair of ears and we both fared the same. Once again the Dr said "there is no indication

24hr MMA Urine Test Restrictions
Hello there, I've got to do a 24hr urine test to check my MMA levels which I ordered from Medichecks. The leaflet included with the kit didn't mention any diet restrictions but I was just wondering if there's anything I shouldn't eat or drink before or whilst doing it. For example is alcohol or caffeine

Bed wetting clinic referral
Have been to the doctors with 8 year old and they have referred him to a bed wetting clinic. The first challenge if to get a urine sample from him to rule out chronic infection.

My horrible anxiety and hypochondria is making me believe I'm pregnant
I don't know if this is the right place to tell this to. But I had sex at the beginning of last month, and even though we used a condom, and there was no ejaculation, the next day I started to worry that I would get pregnant. Every day after that I worried myself sick waiting for my period. I worried

Coldness😱
So it's only a few more weeks away to I see some one. And hopefully they will be able to shed some light on my situation. But I just wanted to see if It's relevant. Since having my little moment in February I'm really struggling. I feel so tired and I'm so cold all the time. Is this normal of liver

Brilliant appointment with doctor!
Hi ladies and gents. I had a very successful appointment with the doctor tonight. He was so efficient and so good. I remember speaking to him at 111 and him listening well. The outlook from the appointment I have several blood tests to do on Monday- including coeliac disease. I have to do an urine sample
