ONE YEAR POST RADIOTHERAPY
Just wanted to let you know that at my last check one year post radiotherapy my PSA is now undetectable. I am doing OK too. A few late onset side effects after 6 months which may or may not be radiation proctitis - gastroenterologist says it is but onc says it isn't. Am hoping they will sort something

Sore throat
I’m on Carbimazole and I have developed a slight sore throat today. Is it something to worry about or not as my fiancé has recently had a cold?

Oral thrush
Has anyone got any tips on how to get rid of oral thrush. I'm so fed up with having a sore mouth and everything tasting disgusting. I've tried Nystatin but it's not working for me.

Suffering oral thrush for one month
I have been suffering oral thrush for one month. Already took nystatin for three weeks, and fluconazole for one week. The white patches come and go. My oral mucosa has been swelling for one month. There are also red spots on my oral mucosa. I‘ve been to GP several times, but all seen by different doctors

Hypothyroid-tonsillitis links?
Hi! I'm new. From last year, suffering from recurrent tonsillitis, and a little hypothyroid (on thyroxin 25 mcg tablet) for last few months. Is there any prognostic links between these two diseases?

Dental treatment
Today I have started on Benepali. The nurse went through all the risks and what to be aware of. She then mentioned dental treatment and one of the issues was root canal. Hydrocortisone and fillings...
Hi, I’m due two fillings tomorrow at the dentist. I currently take 15mg of hydrocortisone (10mg am and 5pm). I’m now worried about ‘adrenal crisis caused by stress’ should I increase my dosage before my appointment or is there no need? This is my first dental treatment since starting on steroids therefore

Fenofibrate and kidney:Increase in serum creatinine

Warning about dental treatment
I very rarely post on the site but tap in now and again to see what everyone is up to. In September I had a crown shear off in my lower right hand jaw and found that the underside of it was rotten (the dentist put this down to various chemos I have had over the past 6 years). Mucositis
I have Systemic Sclerosis (no skin involvement- all internal), I also have Sjogrens. After almost 3 years of a permanently sore mouth I have a diagnosis of Mucositis - I do NOT have cancer nor have I had chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Everything I have found so far is that it is caused as a side effect

Immunotherapy and Bifidobacteria
Good morning ladies. I am reading Chris Woollam’s book ‘Heal your gut heal your body ‘ and he says how important it is to create a good gut microbiome when healing cancer.
