Interferon alpha frequency

I have been on interferon for about 6 months. Now down to two a week. Finding fatigue day after injection becoming much much worse. I know some people at Liverpool have a weekly injection. At what stage was that started. My behcet is under better control although still got eye problems😕

I have been on weekly injections for a number of years (Under Prof Moots at Liverpool). I started on Pegylated Interferon which was once a week anyway.

Had to change from ViraferonPeg due to supply issues but been on Roferon A 3mu once a week for about a year now. Flu symptoms day after injection do get a bit better in my experience but still not pleasant. Certainly easier to cope with that one day a week than 2, and I have not had any of the more serious issues whilst on Interferon - Previous: Deafness, Heart problems, Neuro probs

Prof Moots has always been very amenable to any suggestions I have made re change in dose / frequency. Certainly worth discussing with your consultant as interferon treatment is still a bit experimental.
