Severely constipated what next?
I've been slightly constipated for weeks until 8 days ago . Then I just stopped. Been in severe pain since and tried every laxative. Been to doctors and she put me on docusate sodium. Now I'm on molaxole powder and having 8 sachets in 6 hours for faecal impaction. Still nothing at all. I'm in pain now

Am I at risk of having too much calcium in my blood?
diagnosed Sept. 21 now tapered to 2 mg. in the summer I was informed that I would require some dental treatment, possibly an implant. After speaking to my dentist about the risks involved, as I was taking Alandronic acid, which I have always disliked taking, I decided for better or worse (and especially

Cool, newly discovered AI search engine for supplements - SUPP.ai
While updating my files on curcumin formulations (Thanks to MB's recent post on Thracurmin for cognitive function), this website popped up in my search results. It was developed by the Allen Institute for AI (founded by Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen) and is designed to search for supplement interactions

Mouth ulcer
I ve had a mouth ulcer now for 8 days. At first it was bothering me (not painful) now nothing as if its not even there. Would it be possible to get an advice of how to get rid of it? It’s around 3-4mm in size. The redness improved. I never had fever of anything just it bothers me when the tongue hits

Hello everyone, not sure if this helps... I went through genetic testing and they found my KMT2B gene activated. This is odd due to my age and how aggresive it is. My Dr has never seen this happen before. In actuality, there is nothing in written human history (as far as I know) that shows late stage

Why we add an AART drug to ADT?
In response to a post asking if adding enzalutamide to ADT is beneficial: Xtandi would increase T levels if not simultaneously using an LHRH ADT. It blocks AR in hypothalamus leading to perception of deficit and increased LH and testicular testosterone. So enzalutamide or apalutamide used without ADT

Is Xtandi necessary or even helping me?
This may be a stupid question but it's been on my mind for a while. I started on Prostap (Lupron) last July and my testosterone dropped to less than 1.0 by October while on just that. My PSA was also below 1.0 by then. My MO started me on Xtandi towards the end of October and my T and PSA appear to

Kwells / Hyoscine Hydrobromide contraindication
Does anyone happen to know why those with thyroid problems or heart conditions and those over 60, (I have all three) should speak to their doctor before taking these for motion sickness. A pharmacist who was aware of my medical conditions suggested Kwells for me. Only just read the pil in full. I haven

Fed Up with everything.
I have been on haemodialysis since May. Having completed all the tests etc at the beginning of November, I was just waiting to go live in the transplant list. My previous consultant, who is now on maternity leave, said my results were good and she even said, I would probably receive a new kidney before

Bleeding internal haemorrhoids
Hi all, does anyone have regular problems with bleeding internal haemorrhoids? If my motions are soft, I have no problems, but as soon as they are the least bit hard, then the bleeding and soreness start up again! I have tried all sorts of lotions and potions, some on prescriptions, but it never goes

BATMAN
Yesterday, when I complained of the apparent lack of interest in using BAT to prevent CRPC, I should have briefly mentioned the old BATMAN study (2016). Although BATMAN involved hormone-sensitive men, there was no castration phase. Therefore, the BATMAN protocol was not designed to prevent CRPC.

Peritoneal dialysis and Neck pain at night during exchanges ……any help? Asking for my mother
Reaching out to this expert community to see if anyone has any experience and advice so I can help my mother. She has been on peritoneal dialysis for about 3-4years. Her exchanges happen at night on machine (not manually). Most recently she has been dealing with pretty significant neck pain. That happens

The Thymus & ADT
New paper below [1]. The thymus has an important immunological role during childhood, but strangely, shrivels up at puberty. A PubMed search of gives 1,753 hits, going back 100 years. Many years ago, I discovered that castration could cause the thymus to regenerate. I wondered what that meant for
