pain with Caelyx
Hello Ladies, This is my 2nd time with Carbo/Caelyx, 6 months completed March '15 with very few side effects. I restarted in May of this year as one year without treatment allowed one site of the cancer to grow and a 4th site to develop. For the first 2 months I just had the usual post-chemo feelings

Clean catch urine samples
It's exremely important to make sure that urine samples taken for testing are done by clean catch method. I'm posting this with the feeling that I may just be the dumb kid in the class. As many know, I've been very quiet on here lately mainly because I've been through a very busy few weeks with tests

So I was almost 12 days late, then I got my period but it had alot of blood clots in it. and I still having symptoms. I went to a free clinic and they did a urine test that said negative. Could I still be pregnant at all?

Could this be related to my endo?
I've been battling symptoms of endometriosis for a couple of years now but I don't have an official diagnosis because they won't do a laparoscopy until I lose weight. At first my main symptoms were extreme pain when having a bowel movement (like I was being stabbed repeatedly), near constant pain over

Active Surveillance
New Canadian study below. It's all very well for Dr. Myers - speaking of overtreatment - to say :"Don't call it cancer" when the Gleason score is 3+3, but 25-30% of such men will progress while on Active Surveillance [AS]. In some cases, a delay in treatment might worsen the outcome. It isn't as though

Hi ladies Just wanted some advice.. I've been in horrible pain since my surgery at the end of April this year. I've had little to no relief from the pain and have been basically house bound since the op. I had both ovaries ablated, including an area near my bladder and uterus plus adhesions freed. The

high urine iodine
Hi, I have been wondering why I have high urine iodine 240ug/l I had a chest scan which used radioactive iodine 6 months ago and I assumed it was due to that still coming out of my system, although from what I can see in research materials, it should be excreted much quicker than that. Anyway, read

Hi Can anyone please advise me how I would go about changing from NDT to Levo. and T3 combination. I have been taking NDT for six months and have only managed to work up to 1.5 grains. With every increase I have had to reduce again because of side effects. I did manage to get to 2 grains but experience

Bad Ulcerative Colitis flare and bladder irritation/urgency! Someone help!
I am currently going through a BAD UC flare. Taking 40mg of Prednisone and my daily Lialda pills. My bladder feels like it's under tremendous pressure, which makes me take several trips to the bathroom for a disappointing amount of urine to come out. Has anyone ever had this issue with a UC flare? I
