Well, I caved
I recently weaned off of pristiq. It was awful but I made it though! I was going to try to go Med free but it was just too much. I am now starting out on Zoloft. It’s only been a few days but the nausea is pretty bad. And tips/tricks to getting through the first couple of weeks on this one. This

Hello everyone on here. I hope everyone’s had a great Monday and a great past weekend. As I lay down here at home and reflect on the day I had, I must say it was a good day. For the most part, my depressions really elevated in the mornings. Yesterday I purchased a small notebook, and I wrote on

Hyaluronic Acid and CLL
I have been using a Revitalift over the counter face serum that is 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid sold as a treatment for wrinkles and aging skin. I seem to remember somewhere that there is a tie to CLL. Does anyone have any info on this? TIA

Update on hubby
Just an update on how hubby is doing. He is feeling better than he has been for years! Something seems to have had a positive effect and he is positively energetic and laughing and talking and back to helping with housework, and joining in with the family. He has even got into our spa pool with me that

Apitherapy for Parkinson’s Disease: A Focus on the Effects of Propolis and Royal Jelly - 2020

Evidence from Preclinical Studies The effects of both propolis and its flavonoids and RJ and its lipids on PD were examined both in vivo and in vitro. The findings indicate that

Daily struggle with anxiety
Hi everyone. I wanted to join this group and read all of your stories to know I’m not alone in this battle. I was diagnosed with anxiety a few years ago, and was dealing with it pretty well with taking lorazepam as needed (only during panic attacks) I knew after watching my mom die in front of me at

Hi
Hey everyone. It's been a while since I posted & things were good for a while. My doc and I decided to stop my Lamictal, and while everything has been going smoothly my health anxiety is getting bad again. Mostly due to Covid & my fear of death. This last week has been especially hard because I work

Mirena for heavy periods
Hello, I had the Mirena coil fitted 4 months ago for heavy periods, with fibroids and adenomyosis. I had to wait a year to get a gynecology appointment, and had a hysteroscopy, and the Mirena fitted at the same time. I have not had a follow up appointment, and have been finding it hard to even get through

Hi All, I’m looking to start a new IVF cycle after taking a break following 2 unsuccessful cycles a few years ago. I suffer from endometriosis and currently on Decapeptyl SR 3mg and Tibolone. My previous failed IVF cycles were due to poor quality eggs which resulted in no pregnancies. After reading

Accuracy of estimated fetal weight?
Hi All Am 35+2wks and my growth scan today estimated a jaw dropping fetal weight of 7lb 13oz! (now!). Knew we were expecting a big baby but that was way higher that we could imagine, with >95% abdominal circumference. But I also know these estimates can really over egg it (a friend’s actual baby weight

quercetin and thyroid function
hello. i read somewhere that quercetin can inhibit thyroid function, anyone know if this is right? i have been taking it as an antiviral and senolytic. if so i wonder if there is a list anywhere of supplements to be avoided? I gather alpha lipoic acid is one (i also took that), and someone said fisetin

Rheumatologist consultation since my original post
Today I have, finally, received a copy of a letter from my Rheumatologist, sent to my GP, following my consultation on the 1st July. Under “Diagnosis” she has written; ?Polymyaglia Rheumatica, ?Ploymyalgic Arthritis. So, apparently, the jury is still out! Under “Medication” she has put; 1. Prednisolone
