Can I take my 112mg levothyroxine first thing in the morning and at the same time as my 5mg Felodipine? (Blood pressure tablets)
Hi everyone, I usually take my levothyroxine on its own at about midnight. However, I possibly now need to take sleep aid tablets at night, so I am thinking of changing times and taking my levothyroxine first thing in the morning instead. However, first thing in the morning I have to take my high blood

Omega-3s could boost immunotherapy's cancer-fighting power
The researchers found that dietary omega-3 fatty acid supplementation blocked tumor growth in mice treated with immunotherapy, sEH inhibitor, or both treatments used together. In contrast, mice on the high-omega-6 diet and given immunotherapy experienced accelerated tumor growth in certain tumor types

Testing positive for covid
It was going to happen I have tested positive for covid. I have to say the response from NHS and government is confusing. After reporting my lateral flow test the NHS told me to isolate but the government guidelines say it’s not a legal requirement and my employer is following the government advice.

Omega 3 fatty acids
I have extremely dry skin and wondering if I should take omega 3 fatty acids. I cannot eat sardines or tuna as have reactions to tinned fish. I probably do not get any omega 3. Cannot eat nuts either. Which are best supplements to take and good absorption?

Horrible Week…
So trigger warning… This past Monday my dad passed away. I’ve already been struggling with panic and depression and now it’s been so much worse this last week. I was already feeling bad and now I feel so terrible, I panicked 12 times in the last 5 days it just doesn’t want to stop. I don’t know what

Vertebral fractures and starting zoledronic acid
I was diagnosed with 2 vertebral fractures (grade 2 superior endplate fracture) in Dec 2021 after osteoporosis showed up on my DEXA scan in 2020. I am scheduled to have the first of 3 annual zoledronic acid infusion in mid-Feb. I just wondered if anyone on here has had a similar experience? My back

How to Increase BDNF
So somebody over on FB posted they were taking BDNF for PD anxiety (or maybe just for anxiety) so I Googled and found BDNF = Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor and BDNF supplements do not contain Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor. But I did find this article on strongcoffee.com. https://strongcoffeecompany.com

Shining a light on Protein Aggregation in Parkinson's Disease
Niacin, who knew?! Research shows that in the brain, niacin interacts with a highly-selective receptor, HCAR2, present in immune cells physically associated with amyloid plaques. When niacin activates the receptor, it stimulates beneficial actions from these immune cells. After the Alzheimer's disease

Advice wanted: organising a run
Our village is punting for ideas for the Queen’s jubilee celebrations. To the parish council, I floated a run from here to the next village and back (10km) with 5 hard hills. I tried torpedoing the idea by saying “of course we’d never get permission to close the roads”. But someone said it would be

“Help with panic attacks”
Hi friends! This is my first day on here and I’m very happy that I finally decided to talk to some people who are dealing with the same things. Recently within the last 2 months I’ve developed extremely bad panic attacks just out of the blue. When I had my first one I actually passed out for a second

Introducing myself as a new member
Hi, I'm new here, just diagnosed and am interested in controlling further bone loss with way of eating. I am about 90% vegan but would like to ramp up my food sources (e.g. green leafy veggies, etc.) and strength/weight training to help with this condition. I am 71 years old, not taking any medications

I realized I have anxiety/fear about most of the sexual situations in my life
I'm new here, and I don't know how to help myself. Even though I'm in a great healthy relationship, I've never been sexually assaulted. Now I understand that this has always been the case. The topic of sex paralyzes me and causes fear. I feel like I don't try many experiences because I'm afraid to
