Anyone doing FODMAP tried Huel?
I also eat the Huel bar after
swimming
and riding for a protein kick, comes in a couple of flavours and is 100% FODMAP. Not only is it FODMAP friendly but its nutritionally balanced and contains loads of vitamins and minerals and is UK made cutting down on your carbon footprint.

When should you start to feel any benefit?
I'm 67, in pretty good health and active - 150+ minutes of moderate exercise a week (mostly walking and
swimming
). Why am I trying C25K? Two reasons. Firstly because the evidence suggests that a bit of vigorous exercise brings further benefits.

W7R1 - slow and steady won the day
Last time I saw him I'd only just worked up to
swimming
3x a week, and I was over a stone heavier than now - quite some change! Enjoy your running this week everyone!

One in the eye
Convinced I'd been blinded by some sort of tree sap I grappled with the front camera on my phone, and eventually cajoled my eye open long enough to find an unfortunate bug
swimming
around in there.

Personal Update and Dr. Byrd on What We Don't Know
Been working hard to get back to my baseline with my knee arthritis and pain through
swimming
and physical therapy. Still anemic and tired, but getting better. The trip to Stockholm for EHA to present our research didnāt help with my fatigue, but it was so worth it.

Quite pleased with myself as Iāve been struggling with a head cold this week, plus I pulled something behind my knee when
swimming
(you know that sport that doesnāt put strain on you like running does....ironic much!) Anyway, didnāt break any records but completed it with a smile on my face!

End of the road
Maybe I'm just not cut out for this running malarkey and should try
swimming
instead. I'm going to give it complete rest and think long and hard wether to give the program another go. W4 just does not agree with me as this is twice I have failed at the same stage.

Outcome of my consultant appointment
I learnt a lot from
swimming
and pilates in terms of good breathing techniques. 5. Result of Mannitol test was negative. However this in his opinion doesn't mean I don't have asthma. He said 4 days being off all my medication does get rid of all the steroids in your body.

roseabi's Running Story š
It was my first marathon, and it's just such a lovely event - trails, massive hills, glorious views, a highland piper, Mars Bars and sausage rolls en route, lunch and the use of a
swimming
pool at the finish!
Q: What are your favourite mid-race snack, and post-race meal?

Trotting into Week 7
I went back to
swimming
first, and was surprised to notice my range of movement had inexplicably improved. I tried sitting briefly on a friend's stocky pony, just to see if I could sit astride, even if it was only briefly before sitting side-saddle - and amazingly I could.

Sweating like a pig
Even
swimming
I can feel myself sweating. Recently at work I had a meeting on a hot day. I got up at the end to find a huge wet patch on my shirt dress ( I hadnāt wet myself). This caused much hilarity with my colleagues. Even walking.... wet t shirt by the end.

On the IC!!
We walked alongside the riverside and there were plenty of family groups picnicking and
swimming
, couples with dogs throwing sticks into the water for them to fetch etc. And loads of unspoiled nature. Then we cross the style and went across the bridge to the other side.

Help!
Every run is a bit of a gremlin battle field thanks to that, but usually I manage to pitch myself in, like jumping into the
swimming
pool - a big shock that lasts 10 seconds.

Very poorly newbie - Desperate for help
I was fairly active as a child, I was out playing all day going on walks, bike rides, played netball and went
swimming
and then diving regularly. I then started getting sick at the age of around 9/10.
