Hi all, unfortunately W3R1 ended prematurely, I will admit to maybe not listening to my body as I had calf pain from last week but thought it was just the usual. But half way through the run it went with a bang, luckily I think it is just a slight strain as I can still bear weight on it, so looks like I'll be out for a couple of weeks. What good would you guys recommend for starting back? Re do week2? Or try and keep up some other non weight nearing exercise like swimming?

Ah - that's a shame. So frustrating! When I did mine I did non weight bearing stuff like the static bike. Also a bit of walking (I know that's weight bearing but not as much as running!) I didn't swim mainly because the times I can go to my sports centre the pool is being used by the schools but I've heard that swimming is really good for injuries. Take it easy & don't rush back too soon - short term pain for long term gain! Good luck & hope it gets better.

Tough.

Rest up and you will only know where to start back when you know how long you have been laid up.

It takes a couple of weeks before you lose discernible condition.
